    I am looking for someone who will be there all day of the wedding and doing a TTD session. Photography is incredibly important to me as well, but I don't want to spend a lot. So I am too, going back and forth on a local photographer or flying one in. How much is the package you purchased (if you don't mind me asking!)

    I'm sorry to hear this. I haven't bugan planning yet, but i know I will run into these problems as well. If possible, I am not going to pick my wedding party until everyone that I want to be in it has paid their initial deposit. Once they have paid, then I will ask them. I hope that will work. I also want to emphasis that we would love everyone to come but know that is not possible due financial issues. Hopefully if I tell people up front to let me know right away, it will go smoother. Fingers crossed!!!

    I don't know if I will be having one or not. It will depend on how many people actually attend my wedding in Mexico. But if I do, it will be very casual. I will not require people to dress up. It will be more of a party than a wedding reception and I try to have a slide show either on the laptop and then watch the wedding video. I will provide food (finger type food) and probably beer and wine and then if they want anything else they need to bring it themselves. I don't want to spend a lot of money on this, since my main focus is my mexican wedding!

    Has anyone else been able to get their WC to honor the cheaper quote? Or even something better? Another bride went through a TA and was quoted this: "Deluxe Resort View" prices at $184.00 per person per night based on double room occupancy for January 4 - April 30, 2011. For May 1 - Aug. 20, 2011 rates drop to $154.00 per person per night and Aug. 21 - Dec. 23, 2011 - $148.00 per person per night double."

    Maykaym4- That is what I expected to spend- I dont want to go over $2000, but that sounds like a good deal. Did you get all the pictures you needed in the 5 hours the day of the wedding? Do you have your photos yet??? I would LOVE to see them!

    Great! Thanks! That is good to know! What month was your wedding? I'm wondering if it's worse at different times of the year. My FB name is Shanna Underwood. I don't know if you will be able to find me (don't know how high my security is set) so if you can't find me let me know and I will lower my security. (My FB pic is currently one of me and another friend- brown curly hair (me) on the left and dark hair on the right standing behind a Vegas slot machine).

    my friend is doing a peacock theme for her July wedding at home. She is doing more Jade green though. I don't think is using sashes but if she is I will let you know!
