Maybe it's a difference of People and maybe it's because I'm at Sun- I had been in contact with Dolores- and she told me payment was due before. Maybe I should email her and tell her some people are still allowed to pay at check out. I don't know if it will work since I already sent back the signed contract. :/ Oh well, good thing it's only $200ish.

Haha, that does make me feel better Allie! We haven't looked for my FI's suit yet either...trying to put off those expensive purchases, lol. We did actually order the guys linen pants last night from Old Navy- they were only $24. Hopefully they work! So we have the ties picked out, we just have to order then and then I will be done with the guys minus the FI's suit! I can't wait either- I keep checking FB every day hoping there is a sneak peak up for th e-pics, even though I know there won't be for at least a week! I just hope I don't look like a hot mess since it was 94 degrees and HUMID (gotta love the midwest) outside for our pics! But I figured if she can make me look good in that, I will look AMAZING in our wedding pics, hahahaha!

Cherry Blossom has told me most people do pay the outside vendor fee, esp at MP- with the gate and their security, but my wedding is at Sun Palace and I'm sure the same would work for Beach Palace- there is no gate at Sun Palace. I spoke with a previous bride and she said she had a meeting with her photographer before the wedding in the lobby and had no problems. I'm assuming since it is in the heart of Cancun versus being secluded, that makes a world of difference. Cherry Blossom said they could deliver the flowers in a gift box so there would be no issues on the day of the wedding. Maybe if Marvin even contacts you- you can ask him what his tricks are to deliver the flowers and another vendor can copy that, lol.

Love the pics girl!!!!! Makes me more excited for my sneak peak on facebook hopefully this weekend for mine...I don't think I can wait the 3-4 weeks to get all our pics!!! lol.

Allie you are so ahead of the game! We picked out the guys sandals last weekend and bought FI's shirt for the TTD session. I'm still working on flowers. We have all the bridesmaids dresses ordered and I have their shoes and jewelry, I still need to find my jewelry- any recommendations? I need to start looking for paper and such for my DIY invites that I think I will attempt to start making in June. We got our engagement pics done yesterday!!!!

Wow, I'm glad I found this thread! I am planning on getting a brazillian for the wedding..but now I think I need to do a test run soon- before summer. Oh.....I need to find what I have...maybe I just thought that since the ipod package is for 4 hours then it was a four hour reception.........hmp- I don't want to pay for the extra hour-- I had planned all along for 6-10- 3 hours is too short! Maybe I can get my WC to extend it for free. Now I need to go back to my documents and see how much everything costs to extend it for an hour so I can budget for that just in case...booo, what a crummy day, lol. YAAAAY Caitlin!!!! Thanks Coco! I have in writing that they would still honor the original functions since I reserved my wedding before the time they changed the perks. I thought I had somewhere that the unlimited reception was for 4 hours and not 3, guess I better go back and check that too. Hopefully my Sun Palace WC will be flexible for the better and not worse!

Now you have me worried- don't you have the 75 room nights, so don't you qualify for unlimited private functions? They did away with contracts when I booked in Feb, so I don't have much to go off of. But I know that I qualified for unlimited functions which last 4 hours so my reception will be from 6-10. Do you have something different? I hope you guests are more courteous than mine! I know- and she's getting married next May, so I hope she realizes it's annoying when people cancel/don't show up and don't tell you!

I just have to vent...I talked to my TA over my lunch break because our flight prices came out yesterday and they were higher than expected- stupid gas prices! It is going to be $600 for a roundtrip flight from STL to Cancun. We were hoping for $500, but what can you do? Anyways- while talking to my TA she informed me that 2 couples cancelled. One my FI knew about, he just failed to tell me (typical men) and the second I was taken aback by. The second is a friend and her now fiance (they just got engaged 3 weeks ago) so I know she cancelled because she will be saving money for her wedding next May, which is totally understandable...but don't cancel yesterday and not as much as send me a text message! I just think that is so rude- if you're going to cancel, then just cancel and tell me- it's fine! Guess she won't be attending our girls night this Saturday, haha. So we are down to 39 people plus me and my fiance- which I think under 40 is a good number- less OOT bags to buy, lol! Sorry, I just needed to vent!

Great ideas ladies- I have no idea what I'm getting my hubby yet, but I'm thinking either an engraved iPad, engraved watch or even new golf clubs. I still don't know how I'd feel about doing a boudoir shoot, I'm pretty private too and I'm just scared it would get into the wrong hands or something, lol!

Ok thanks ladies! I told my Miami contact that a recent MP bride was not charged, so I will see what she says! Otherwise, I guess I will just wait until I know my onsite WC and confront her about it- I have 8 girls- I'm not about to pay $80 so they can all take their bracelets off- that's ridiculous!
