    Glad to hear I'm about 3 1/2 months out and just recently got in touch with my new cancun contact person. She unfortunetly has nothing I had discussed with Miami, so I have to forward her everything..glad to hear other people don't have to deal with that....

    Nope, we are doing a buffet style dinner. That's what I was thinking- it's not really necessary- we don't have people that CANNOT sit next to each other and by the wedding everyone will have been there for at least 2 days, so you would hope that they can figure out 6 or 8 other people to sit next to, lol.

    Look at you girls goo!! I went camping over the weekend, so I got nothing accomplished! Haha. I still haven't decided if I'm doing table numbers and place settings....with only 40 people, I don't know if it's needed. Seems like extra work I won't want to end up doing, haha.

    Great, thank you! I think I am leaning towards a private event for our rehersal dinner and I want something close to where we are staying so my guests don't have to walk across the whole resort. I will have to check those pics out again! How did you actually pay in full before you left? Was it hard and did you fell safe and secure doing it? I'll be sending good vibes your way in regards to the hurricane!

    I had just the opposite...Cherry Bloosom never said anything and then I just got a follow up from Marvin on Monday...you are correct- it is incredibly frustrating- I think this is the most frustrating part...esp because I send sample pictures and tell them the color flowers I want and it ends up taking like 3 tries before they actually make a bouquet that I requested from day 1.

    TIME IS FLYING BY!!! I just finished ordering my invitations for those that are not attending the wedding and I need to take my boarding pass invites (for those that are attending the wedding) to Office Depot to have printed so I can start on those! We set the date for my fiance's side of the family shower- Sept 16- so that means we need to kick it into gear and start registering!!! Guess what we'll be doing next weekend? lol That sucks about your ac!! We are house shopping, so I can't wait for all my $ to go toward that instead of wedding stuff..not, haha.

    Yaay, congrats and have fun!!! If you make it to the golf course salon and want to take pics of that, that would be great! I'm interested in which terraces are closed to the Nizuc section, so if you're in that area too, snap away!! Have fun and enjoy every minute of it!! Congrats and can't wait to hear/see all about it when you return!!!!

    great thread- thanks for the post!! We still aren't 100% on having something after the wedding- but if we are we are def taking the laid back approach and doing an Open House type of party!

    Anyone heard from Cherry Blossom recently? I was ready to put down my deposit once I finalized the flowers- which was over 3 weeks ago and I haven't heard anything yet...looks like I'm back to Marvin.

    I am wondering the same thing right now...I'm thinking it might just be cheaper to take everything to Office Depot and just have them print everything for me- it will save me headache too!

    Yikes girls!! I hope you get your hangers because it does look like her shop has "magically" disappeared! Guess she couldn't handle the volume or something! I would def file a report with ETSY if you girls don't get your hangers- she should have to pay for this!!

    Well I picked a good day then! You will have a lot to celebrate!!! Nov 23rd is actually our 7 1/2 year anniversary, so that is why we picked that day!

    Whoops!!! That sucks- she better send you a new one!! I got mine in the mail on Saturday- I better check again to make sure it's spelled right! I got the black hanger. I think I may replace the ribbon if I can find one I like better, but overall I'm pleased with my $5 purchase! It will serve the purpose of a couple dress pics!

    Congrats and welcome! OMG, that is A LOT of people!!! That will be a lot of fun! Are you renting out the whole resort?? I just ordered my paper for my invitations and will order the invitations for the people who are not attending in the next couple weeks. I hope to have my invites out by the 3 month mark! 4 months from today!!!!!! ahhh! lol!
