How fun!! Ya the ticket prices suck!! But with so many of our friends as teachers, my mom is a teacher's aide and my sister and my fiance's brother are in college- we didn't really have any other options- Thanksgiving or Christmas. It's going well- I try and check a couple things off my list every week/weekend. I am super busy though right now- we are in the midst of buying a house and one of my best friends is getting married Sept 22nd, so we have her bachelorette party next weekend. It's a little overwhelming, but it's all fun and will be worth it!! I won't know what to do with myself after Nov, I'll be so bored, haha. How's planning for you?

Since we are traveling thanksgiving week (getting married on Black Friday, lol) our direct flight to Cancun is $600!!! ugh!!! Our final payments for both are due Oct 5th..so we still have time! Yay for dress being in!! I need to take my dress to my fiance's grandma's house as she is altering my dress for me!

Got my invites printed last weekend- now it's a wedding invite assembly party this weekend! and get the hubby to be's suit this weekend! Someone bought the first thing off our registry last weekend too!! I got really excited about that- haha! My first shower is 2 weeks from Sunday!

As my big day draws closer and I'm trying to get things ordered on Visatprint, I've come to the conclusion that within the last year Vistaprint is trying to do away with "free" things. I think they were losing money and had to change their promotions. You used to be able to get 100 postcards for free all the time (what I used for my save the dates in January) and I used to get emails all the time with free stuff, but now that hardly ever happens. Like everyone else said use retail me not to use the 50% off going on right now or else buy a groupon- I've never bought one so I don't know if you get an additional percentage off with using the groupon or not- but if you do then that is def your best bet!

Just an FYI- your code is a one time use thing- I tried to use it and it would not let me! Thanks for sharing though!

I've been doing various Jillian Michaels DVDs for over a year now...my wedding is in 3 months and I've decided I'm going to start Insanity Oct 1st. So a little over a month before it starts getting crazy!!! I hope I can handle it!

I haven't decided yet 100% we are planning on doing a rehersal/welcome dinner the night before the wedding either private or in a restaurant. I don't think we'll do anything informal as far as farewell goes. We have 40 people coming and only 6 of those people will not be on our flight home with us, lol.

Guess I better ask my TA about that.

Is that your old Miami coordinator? The Miami office has been closed and you should be in contact with a new coordinator located in Cancun. If not- I'm sure someone can share one of their girl's emails with you.

I am sending 2 types of invitations out: standard invitiations I ordered off Vistaprint for the people that we sent Save the Dates, Bridal Shower, etc invites to but are not coming to Mexico. We are also planning on adding an insert stating that we will be having in open house sometime in Jan 2013 after the holidays. For the people that are coming with us to Mexico I am making DIY boarding pass invites. These invites have the invite, the wedding day schedule and the Welcome Dinner invite on them- so it's like 2 invites in one!

Oh coming along and you? We finished registering last weekend. I am finishing my DIY boarding passes this week and printing them this weekend. I mailed my payment for my photographer today. I am working on finalizing my flowers for the wedding. I started my wedding/reception music. And I am ordering the last of the bridesmaids gifts soon! Slowly checking things off the list!
