I'm sorry I'm not much help- my PO is only $200 so I will be paying that via my credit card before I arrive. If my CC gets stolen I will file a complaint with them and my credit card and get the money refunded. I think they have been pretty persistant that you pay before hand lately- but hopefully someone will have a tip to share with you on how to get around this!

I am bringing my own decorations- but I believe your only choice is Zuniga- they are apparently great to work with. SOmeone might have their info, otherwise contact your WC for their information!

I believe you can as long as you let them know beforehand. I plan on doing that- I'm a Sun Palace bride. I am unsure of the events though- I haven't asked my WC as I haven't even thought about doing my programs yet!

My TA had requested the Sunrise side because she said it was newer, but looks like I'll be telling her to contact Funjet to change the request to the Nizuc side!

I'm sorry to hear that! But you got the section changed, and your guests will never have to step foot through the construction zone, so no worries! Do you already have your trip booked and everyone that is coming to your wedding's trip booked? I think you need to sit down and have a talk with him discussing how it is important to you for him to be involved. My fiance doesn't do much either- I ask him his opinions about things, but I pretty much handle everything and i am fine with that when I need help I ask him or my bridesmaids. If you have only been engaged for 8 months and have changed your date 3 times, I'm assuming you were planning on having a short engagement- which can be very stressful and overwhelming, esp when planning a destination wedding to make sure everything is done in time. We got engaged on Christmas and our wedding is 11 months later, on Nov 23rd.

How exciting...just take it one day at a time, you've got this!! We got my hubby to be's wedding ring in the mail this weekend! Glad I could check that off the list! Best thing we got it from Kohl's and it was only $50!!! We close on our house on Friday, so the next couple weeks will be all house stuff and NO wedding stuff...at least I can start buying things again, lol.

There is only a charge for beach set up or the caribbean terrace where there is no elevator access. I've never heard of this charge before!

When is your wedding date?! When will you be there? I'll be at Moon Nov 19-26 but my wedding is at Sun Palace. I am bringing my photographer from the states with me and she is staying 3 nights so I don't have to pay the fee. I would just book them a night at the hotel and then they will be a guest of your wedding! Your wedding locations should be confirmed once you get your purchase order from your WC, but they say the cannot completely guarentee it until you arrive in Mexico. But if you've paid, you should be fine ! I think we are requested to stay in the Sunrise section or the Nizuc. Not sure one is better than the other. I think the Nizuc side is quieter than the Sunrise from what I've been told.

59 days!!!! ahhhhh!!!! Finally ordered my guestbook on Shutterfly last night!! Only 26 things left on my list- a lot of assembling and only a handful of things left to purchase!

That is only for people who booked after that date, correct? I have a sheet from the palace website that anyone that booked before April 2012 will not be charged the tax.
