  1. We had fun on our trash the dress photos! I acutally had to buy a knock off dress on ebay for my TTD because we had to do our pics the day before the wedding as our photographers left the day after the wedding and their flight left at noon (we flew photographers from home to our wedding). I love the last pic- as it is a group of our friends at the pool hanging out in the backgroud!
  2. I wish all you 2013 November brides the best! I was married in Cancun at Sun Palace on Nov 23, 2012- perfect weather! 70s during the day and 60s at night! If you have any questions at all for me- please do not hesitate to ask!
  3. I made a guestbook on Shutterfly with one of their templates and used our engagement pictures and other pictures of the past 7 1/2 years! It was free- that was the best part!
  4. Here are my centerpieces from my wedding. My bridesmaids bouquets were the centerpieces and I made/ brought the blumeboxes with me!
  5. I bought the tumblers with straws from Walmart for $4 a piece and then bought inital decals from a seller off Etsy to personalize them for each person so no one got their drinks mixed up as we had 40 people and only about 5 different types of colors of cups! They worked great- everyone loved them and other people from the resort were complimenting the cups asking our guests where they got them! You can see a few of the girls cups! I got the bridesmaids all the bigger and fancier ones with designs! You can also see our OOT bags from OldNavy in this pic!
  6. We stayed at Moon Palace and loved it- esp with a large group. We had 40 people attend our wedding and it was perfect- Moon Palace is big enough (don't get me wrong- MP is HUGE) that if people want to do they own thing they can and then if they want to hang out in the group they can do that too! You would think that you wouldn't run into people because it is so big but you do!! Just make sure you get a room block with your TA and everyone will be in the same section!! You'll see people at breakfast and walking around near your rooms and then we claimed a section of the beach and called it "our beach" so that way if you needed to find someone in the group- just head to the beach- someone is always there! (well not at night of course but we hung out at the palaypa by the beach and pool at night!
  7. We had my bachelorette party - CunCrawl- so much fun HIGHLY recommend on Wednesday, Rehersal/ Welcome Dinner on Thursday and wedding on Friday! The welcome dinner did not feel like a reception since there was no music, but it was a good way to get everyone together and aquainted before the wedding! We have 40 people at our wedding!
  8. Tres Leches cake!! Super moist and yummy!!! But you can pick the final choice when you get to the resort!
  9. We kept it all Mexican- so we did Mexican for both and both were amazing!! There were some kind of meat ball thing that everyone was raving about for the apps and when my husband and I got to the cocktail hour (only like 30 min late cause we were still taking pics) they were already all gone!!! You can "pick and choose" if there is a menu you want but you really want "x" from another menu they will add it for you- you just have to ask! And we had the tres leche wedding cake and from what I tasted (only tasted the part that was shoved in my face) it was very moist and delicious! I have been wondering the same thing. I wish there was a build you your own. There are things that sound so good on each one! I know I have read on here that the international and the italian was also good, but can't remember now where. I know I read something about French too, but I don't remember if it was good or bad. I should have been making notes!
