    My groups final payment is due on May 22nd and my wedding isn't until July. This should give them plenty of time to refund me back for my nights. BTW, me and the FI want to leave MP the day after our wedding and go to another Palace resort, namely Le Blanc. Has anyone else done this and did they consider the nights at the other hotel as comp nights?

    Wow, I am definetly going to check with my TA about getting my comp nights refunded before we leave! My TA told me and like other brides have said that it can take weeks after you return. I'll definetly check it out. Thanks

    I'm leaving on the 25th. Amara, I really wish there was something we could split the cost with but our color schemes are totally different!

    This is great to know because I was only going to use Marvin for my bouquets. Zuniga was giving me better prices and better options then MP for the centerpieces but it sounds like I can get a better deal from Marvin. I'm going to send him some of the samples that I sent to Zuniga and see what kind of prices he comes up with.

    Great thread! I just contacted DJ Mannia about doing my wedding at Moon Palace on July 22. The only difference with me is that I am bringing my DJ and I want to rent their equipment. I also like the motto of don't ask, just TELL them what you are going to do. The Palace resorts have so many restrictions on vendors that it's ridiculous. Hopefully they'll give me a great price.

    I was wondering myself what the WC must be thinking when she see's you with flowers that didn't come from them. I'm also going with Marvin and he assured me that I wouldn't have any problems.

    I'm getting married the day before you 7/22! I myself wanted to bring other table decorations but I did not want to pay the prices that MP was offering. I plan on bringing chair sashes and maybe different color napkins. Originally I was going for the diamond package but found out the picture that they advertise is an extra 2 grand so I went with the complimentary package and will pay for add-ons. I still plan on keeping my decor similar to the diamond package because my colors are baby blue, silver with chocolate brown as my accent color. What are your colors?

    Wow, i'm glad to hear the great reviews about Sascha! I've been going back and forth in my mind if I should use him. I was going to fly in my photographer but the price for a single room is through the roof!! I really love my photographers work but i'm having a hard time rationalizing paying close to $400/night for my photographer. I hope you can post some pictures soon.

    I'm getting married in July and my TA told me that bunking with others was the easiest way. We have a 3pm wedding so we'll make sure we have our bags packed and ready to go early that morning. I think i'll actually get dressed in that new room as well since it shouldn't be too messy. I haven't booked it yet (in a week or so), but once I figure out i'll let you know how the process went.

    I've been wondering about renting the equipment as well. One of my guests is a DJ but of course he's not going to bring all his equipment. I need to find out if its the same price if i don't need the DJ but just a set up of the equipment.
