Hey...Thats my WC,..SHe's nice.. ) well they told me my wedding had to end because of the turtles!!!! mines start at 3:30 because i added an hour for the reception so im having ceremony from 3:30pm-4, then cocktail 4-5, then reception 5-9 , im really bumbed we have to end soo early but considering we will be running around all day im ok with it, besides we can always go to the lobby until midnight and drink and hear music.. my issues is 90% of the guest are staying at Caribe so i would have to go to Caribe or pay for them to stay at the Royal!!>. My biggest dissapointment was and im still sad about it they had told me it was ok to have the sky lanterns (not sure if you know what im referring to) and then weeks later told me the General Manager said we couldnt do it!!!!! im soo pissed.. cuz they had already said yes and that i had to pay for a license thru MX and i was ok paying the $350 for this and then Boom they cant do it... but otherwise.. everything else has been smooth. im doing the complimentary package and just adding little things.. Marvin from Maya Flowers is doing my flowers, im having the DJ and the Dance floor and I booked The royal for the pics ... ( pics are important but im ok with whatever they can manage to take, i heard one of there photographers is good so i requested her and seen some of her work) im bringing my favors and centerpieces from home.. let me know if you have any questions... im 5 weeks away from my wedding!! ahh!!!! i go for mY fitting on Monday!!! still have lots to do..!

Yup.. This is why I booked a Master suite... Why pay $600 when i can use that towards my upgrade.... or better yet some of the packages have things that i wont be using anyways.. from day one I knew i would be getting the free package because we Absoloutly love the master suite.. If your going to get married might as well go all out.. no??? Just something for you ladies to think about..

Have you ladies ever thought of maybe just doing the "free" wedding ??? I opted for this considering WE LOVE the Master suites and adding things together of the things i would ACTUALLY need and Use.. it made more sense to do that. and i get the officiante for free ).....and still saved some money...

well dj is $950 for 3 hours and the fire dancers are $950 , for 45 min... no vendor fee if u book thru the hotel.

My Final payment is due today!!! I cant believe my wedding is 5 weeks away!! AHH!!!!!!!!!!! Need to go for final fitting next week and still have so many little things to take care of !!!!! The pressure is def on! Happy Planning everyone

Hi Blaze03, No the DJ was 950 for 3 hours and additional hour $150. they supply you with ipod deck and speaker if you want to bring an ipod.

Cool Mines is July 14 this year.. well the beach area can be made as big or as small. Im only having 20 guest and there accomedating to as small or as big. I mean they have beach party's for the resort some days, so i think it should be fine. We are having a dj and a light up dance floor.

$200 for deposit and it all depends on what feel your looking for.. i want full beach feel there for having my reception on the beach.. the gazebo is also really nice

Hi Baileybutton, I have fought this fromt the beginning due to negativity and contemplate just eloping... but im glad i didnt because i have already 18 people booked and still more are booking, My wedding is in July and guest started booking in January... I for sure thought i wouldnt have more than 10 people at most and now i have had nothing but positive and excitment. Are you sure noone will attend? Thats what i thought and look at the outcome..

Thanks I have been watching what i eat, trying to pick smarter options and the gym/walking . Now that its getting wrmer me and my FI have a huge park in front of our house so we go there and walk about 3-4 miles a day. Ive lost 7 lbs in 3 weeks. so im super pshyc. hopefully i wont fall off the wagon because when i start losing i feel like i can eat normal and thas not the idea... so imtrying hard... Hi Amanda COngrats first of all!!>. I am getting married at the Royal in Cancun and have been there twice. I stayed both times in the master suite which is AWESOME!! I love it love it love it.. The royal is a small resort but I kind of like it like that. because although its small they do have activities every night they have a show, during the dy thy have activities by the pool and they have things to do nearby you can literally walk to. We walked to the mall, accross the street there is also a small plaza with restaurant and shops, we walked to where the clubs are. I think the royal is in a perfect location on the hotel zone to be honest. Our friends went and stayed at a resort where they had to cab it to all the places we walked to, you can always also just catch the bus that runs up and the down the hotel zone... like i said earlir i loved that it was asmall resort we went to Punta Cana last year and stayed at a really big resort and we just didnt like the feel we felt excluded from some of it because it was soo huge poeple were all over the place, its nice to see people in close proximities than to walk a mile to the nearest lobby..etc.... that s just my opinion and my experience. At the royal they treated us like royalty and i give it a thumbs up all the way. any questions feel free to pm me.. I havent hd the pleasure of staying at the one in playa but im ef staying there when i go for my wedding since i can trade nights.. Ohh an also if you stay at the royal you have complete access to all the real resorts. so you pay for one resort and get the amenities of 4!!!!!... which is great to have that option.. )
