    Hey Jen, I found out too and like you I had already paid deposits for vendors. I had booked Kevan for our DJ and he was floored to learn out about this because he just did a wedding there recently. He tried to fight it, but no luck, so he ended up refunding my deposit. But the only thing I can think of, is that something that happened with the outside vendors to make them think twice to change. Please let us know if you hear any resolution. I have tried emailing and questioning this, as well, but no luck thus far. It has def off set the budget!!! Thanks Shannon

    You literally made me chuckle out loud! I can so relate. Though I have a while to go before I pack, I have been mentally organizing everything and we went to look for new luggage and here is my fiance in my ear... "Shannon, you don't need to over pack like normal... we are going to be wearing our bathing suits." But like you, I was like but it's our wedding!! Good Luck and remember to relax when you get there, you deserve to! Congrats you day is almost here.

    I bought these at DSW and tried them on a pair of heels at home. They make it hard to walk because they pop off easily. Though I wanted them so badly to work, so I went to the beach and tried... it was NOT a sucess. I am now onto PLAN WEDGE! Like you I am 5'2 and FI is 6'7, so I have to wear heels. I think I am going for a cute wedge for the beach ceremony and then switching to high, high, high heels for the rest of the night.

    Lol you are too funny... I did the exact same thing with the little bottle of "charmed life." Even though it was not my wedding colors, the bottle was cute and surprising it smells really good. I was excited too! I actually have it in my car and every morning when I use it, I think of my wedding! Thanks for sharing and happy planning

    I would def send an email to the WC to confirm if it is true and to express your concerns. Obviously your wedding should take priority since you are having you wedding on property and they should not allow a 2nd reception. Ugh how stressful, I am so sorry!!! I am with you... that is why we chose the resort too. You still have time to express your concerns!!

    FLOWERS QUESTION Hey Ladies... I am working to finalize everything with Jodi-Ann, so just looking for some insight! For those of you who are using or have used Tai Flora, are you getting a special arrangement for the sweetheart table? In no ways am I a wedding pro, so I am kind of lost when it comes to this. Also, what are you are your final rundown of flowers? Just so I can make sure I am not missing anything. THANKS

    Hey Ladies... I just pick up my wedding bands and I am so excited to wear them, I'm sure you all know the feeling . Sorry for the crappy quality of pictures, I was using my iPhone. Hopefully my photographer will get better pictures.     Oh fun 6/9/12... where is your wedding? I ordered shells that were label tiny lot of variety shells (they sell them at Michael's too). For the starfish, I ordered the smallest starfish, I forget the actual size, but just type in tiny starfish and it will come up... they were from the Philippines. Unfortunately the sand dollars I ordered were the smallest I could find, but they did not fit into the bottle, so I used some for the label and still have some extras left.     Thanks Girl!! I slaved over these babies, I am so happy to have it behind me. I used envelopes from michaels in the wedding aisle, they have stationary. I am not sure of the size, sorry. They come 10 in a pack, easy to find and I just made the response card myself to fit the envelope. Good luck!
