  1. I live in Florida, as well, and would be happy to sell you some stuff after my wedding in June! What are you looking for? I have a rack of goodies
  2. $1,000 vendor fee?? OMG that sounds like she made that up!!! I have not heard too good of things about Goddfrey from previous bride. It says in the 2012 paper NO OUTSIDE VENDORS. So if she is allowing him to come for your wedding, than he should only have to pay the normal vendor fee. I had already book DJ Kevan and paid for him, he is good friends with them and spoke to them as well... but I had to cancel. I still can NOT get over she said $1000. lol
  3. Hey Jen, Congrats on an amazing wedding!! I tried clicking on your link but its says it has expired. Do you mind sharing again please? Thanks Shannon
  4. Absolutely amazing! I have to say one of the best planning threads I have seen (and trust me I stalk these babies). Not only was it a fun read, your husband seems like a riot (very similar to my dear FI), but everything seem like it turned out great, dispite the hiccups along the road! I could feel the love through the thread and it seems liked you guys had a blast! I am happy you did the cool running excursion, we did that last time when we were in jamaica and wanted to share it with our guests. Did they give you a group rate? Did your guest pay separate or did you cover it all? Congrats on being a MRS!! Don't stress too much about the AHR!
  5. I know a bride who had a post wedding sale at the end of 2011 on here had one in her listing... try looking through the ones with multiple items for sale. She may be ready to let it go for cheaper than originally posted! Good luck
  6. Ladies... there is a little flag in the left corner of the post. I think if you click that it reports the member/post to a moderator and than appropriate action will be taken!
  7. Yes this is true... it actually says in the 2012 paperwork sent out, I believe it's 90% of your guest must stay. You have to have a minimum of atleast 5 rooms, like if you had a small wedding with only 3 rooms book you would not qualify for the free wedding. But if you have a larger wedding with 50 guests and only 5 rooms book at the Grand but the rest at the other properties, I do not think they will allow that.
  8. lol.... I think I may do the same thing! If they take them away they do! As long as my luggage makes it
  9. Does anyone know if you can buy sparkles in Jamaica? I really want them at the reception but I do not think it would be possible to get them through cutoms.
  10. Great Job! They look beautiful! Congrats it is behind you... you will be so proud when you hear all your guests rant and rave!!
  11. It would probably be cheaper to buy them there... Less transport! But if your at an all inclusive, they may have small bottles for free. My resort has it in the minibar. But the airport seemed like the best place to find good prices on liquor when we were there last. Good Luck!
  12. Yes you sure are! I would of felt the same way! But you go for getting her back and giving it back. Who even thinks to give someone else their guest book, why would you want that, lol! So crazy
  13. HELLLPPP!! Ok so I bought a pair of pricey wedges for the ceremony and my FI thinks I am absolutely crazy for wanting to buy a sparkly pair of pumps for picture and maybe the reception. What do you ladies think? Here is the idea, I am going for.... What do you like the best? Or should I just stick with my comfy wedges all night? Thanks A. Steve Madden B. Betsy Johnson C. Enzo Angiolini
  14. You may want to check with the WC. I had DJ Kevan booked for my wedding in June, and the WC told me I had to cancel him and use the one on property. But maybe it is resort specific. DJ Kevan seems awesome though, I was really looking forward to having him!
  15. @ Linzer... Thank you! I did buy the passport template from http://www.ayleebits.com/templates.htm It was def worth the purchase!!! @ Taegan... yes I stuffed it all in the box and sent it out. The postman was amazed and kept asking if he could open one to see, lol! @ Beachbride.. Thank you love and your so very welcome! I am happy to hear I could be helpful to you in you process, I love this site and it has helped me so much! Glad you FI helped you, they have no concept of all our hard work, so it's nice he was a trooper! I can't wait to see your final product, post a pic or your link to your thread!!
