  1. I have 50 clear plastic zippered waterproof vertical keycard holders for sale. $25 includes all 50 as well as shipping anywhere in Canada.
  2. I got mine on ebay from a seller called beadsmarket. they have the clear vertical holders with a clear zipper, and they have free shipping.
  3. Hi ladies, For those of you taking candles or the sky lanterns, what are you planning to do for matches? I'm not sure if this is the same for all airlines, but at least on Westjet, matches are not allowed in your checked or carry-on luggage (except one pack for personal use). Thoughts?
  4. Hi ladies, I've seen offers for this on a few different forums, but thought it might be nice to compile them in one place. So if you live in the US and would be willing to receive a package for a Canadian bride and ship it across the border, please post here so we can contact you! This might help us save on shipping costs, but also allows us access to some of those great sites that just won't ship to Canada. Thanks!
  5. Wow, this dress is absolutely stunning. What an amazing shape!
  6. I had that feeling too. I knew I had found the one when my mom said 'ok, let's see the next one' and I said "Do I have to take this one off?"
  7. For those of you who have already been through your wedding, did you have any issues with the oot bag items at Mexico customs? Did you declare all of the stuff you had with you, and did they give you any trouble about any of it? I'm particularly interested in taking in starfish (as they are animals) and we are also considering doing hot sauce favors, but I'm not sure about taking food across the boarder. Any experienced brides care to share?
  8. I also got the 'what do you mean you're not wearing heels' speech when I bought my Pronovias. I also made the mistake of mentioning the TTD session and the manager almost fainted. It was pretty funny. I love the detailing on the top, it's beautiful!
  9. Hey, you're just 4 days before me! I hadn't thought about that, but I think it's a great idea! We are also using the festival terrace, and I'm thinking those lights would look really nice wrapped around the railing or the pillars of the terrace. You could also wrap them in tulle for a softer look. Great idea!
  10. Hey ladies, Just a possible thought for those of you feeling your bags are too empty - I bought brown kraft paper bags at michaels for less than $1 per bag (and saw them cheaper at Walmart afterwards) and put all my stuff in those. If you had a cloth bag originally for your OOT bag and toss that in as well, it would make the bags look super full! We just decorated the paper bags with stamps and my mom did calligraphy on them with the guests' names.
  11. Hi ladies, I ordered the key card holders for my OOT bags on ebay last week but found out the seller also has a wholesale website, and offers free shipping to Canada! http://www.dorabeads.com/business-supplies-card-holders-c-1429_1350.html
  12. Hello ladies, does anyone have info about the buffet options at Jade? I've heard thee are some different themes but haven't seen a document with the options. Thanks!
  13. Wow, it looks like you guys had an awesome day! Thanks for sharing your pics and can't wait to read your review. Congratulations!
  14. I'm purchasing them from a seller on Etsy. You can see her store here: http://www.etsy.com/shop/Parisxox?ref=seller_info
  15. Well, you ladies have made this decision super-easy. Blue shoes it is! Thanks for all your opinions!
  16. Oh that is so adorable, you're right about the price though
  17. I agree, they look quite real to me, and it doesn't say anywhere they are artificial. Has anyone else found where to order them?
  18. I'm thinking of having one (or all) of my bridesmaids carry a small clutch with the one or two things I might need during the day. Luckily we will be close to the room if I do need something, and who knows, I might need that 5-minute break away from the action every once in a while
  19. I was originally a yes on the veil, but then I watched a video of a DW where it was windy and the veil was blowing in everyone's face as the bride walked down the aisle - I just feel it would be too distracting to me and dangerous to those around me. I got a feathery hair flower instead.
  20. Same here, I got the off-white dress because I just don't look good in that much white.
  21. If you're really concerned about it being ok, I would just pop in to a drycleaner and ask them. I made the mistake of asking the staff at the bridal salon how the fabric would do in water, and they all looked at me horrified that I would even consider doing that. It was pretty funny. Keep in mind though, if you're trying to keep costs down, that drycleaning can be upwards of $300-400 for a wedding dress, depending on the dress. If you plan to sell your dress after the wedding, that's a huge cost you'll have to incur.
