Yup, we are adding them to the bags for the single guys, since we aren't giving them a spa pack (bath soaps and chocolates, because every suite in our resort has a jacuzzi). I'm keeping them in the dollar store packaging until we get down there so there shouldn't be an issue with security - their website says toy guns that don't look like real guns are ok now even as carry on.

Yep, that's the brand I have, but it is honeysuckle flavoured. Tasty, and yes, very effective. When I bought it, the sales lady did this demonstration: dip your finger in a glass of water, then into the powder - finger is instantly dry. Pretty awesome stuff - it never would have occurred to me to use it under my dress. That's why I love this forum!

Hello fellow vistaprinters, just wanted to give you a head's up about an issue I had with my last order. I had been using an old email that I got with free offers, and they always continue to show up free in my cart when I add them. However, I got charged full price for over half of the items in my last order even though they showed free in my cart. I don't keep screen prints of the cart so I can't go back and show it to them, but I know I only ever order the free stuff, and this last order showed up as a $57 charge on my credit card. I went back to the confirmation email and sure enough, it shows full price for many items. It's possible that it was completely my fault, but my advice to you is to check those confirmation emails after the transaction is complete! I've done so many orders that I got out of the habit of looking closely at them, and its become an expensive mistake.

I bought them from myitalianweddingfavors.com. They were a close-out item so the price was good but they had a limited number and I had to buy them in a case of 24, which leaves us with a few extras but not many. I think the starfish ones are sold out but they have lots of other things on close-out. This was definitely the cheapest place I found them but they are available lots of places. They are called a Murano Glass Bottle Stopper and come in lots of different shapes and colors.

We bought starfish bottle toppers, and I'm making personalized wine charms for each guest. One bottle topper per couple plus a wine charm for each person. We are also having the resort use empty wine bottles as our table numbers, so a bit of a wine theme for us.

Hey kimmysue, my wedding is also in November, but Ana sent me the planning form as soon as we put our deposit down. We are also doing exactly what you are doing - cocktail hour, dinner, and then dancing at the club. Thanks for the info on the napkin sale, I've had my eye on a few sites waiting for a deal!

FI and I booked the Divine package, and when Ana sent me the planning form, one of the questions was about what signature drinks we wanted - you can have two, one for cocktail hour and one for the reception. We just chose a wine for the reception but want to do something in our color (blue) for cocktail hour. I'm thinking about a white wine sangria tinted with a bit of blue curaco.

I also contacted them and was quoted $100 shipping for 2 dozen to have them shipped to Calgary. I've got a friend who may be going to new york in the next few weeks, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that she will help me out!

Is anyone having a signature drink for cocktail hour or the reception? What did you select?

I got mine at Safeway a while ago - the 3 pack was 1.59

50 blue (i call it pool blue) organza draw string favor bags. Size is 3x3.5 inches. Never used, our favors just don't fit in them. $5 including shipping anywhere in Canada.

I've never seen them for free, and I've been watching for quite a while. I was thinking about ordering the return address labels and cutting them to round the corners to get a similar effect, but I'm the same as you, kind of had my heart set on the round ones!

Duty is not charged by the seller, but is charged by Canada Customs on items that were not manufactured in the US or Mexico (so if the seller in the US imported the item from somewhere else, you have to pay duty on it when it comes into Canada).
