  1. Shipping to Mexico... Have any past brides done this? Any future bride's planning to do so? We are going to be in Mexico for two weeks, so I am starting to get nervous about packing 80 maracas, napkins, sand ceremony and all of the OOT's as well as candle holders. Thoughts would be great!
  2. I had the same situation and outcome as Jessie! be persistant! Also, I am going with Juan Navvaro for pics. i love his work and style and he was able to come onsite, but with the vendor fee! Check out his blog for an idea of his style! (Google his name and you will find him. He is also a vendor on here!)
  3. Hi Ladies, Just thought you would want to know that AB now offers sky weddings. just saw it on their facebook page! Kerry
  4. Hey! Beautiful Set up! If you don't mind me asking, how much fabric did you bring for the gazebo? My colors are different, but I want to bring down my own fabric as well! Where did you buy everything? Thansk, Kerry
  5. I paid 150 dollars for each of my bridesmaids dresses. They were 170 and they chose them. I will probably give them extras in their OOT's like beach towels, etc. I calculated it out, and with that help, they are sepnding the same amount on me as I did for their weddings, and they are getting a vacation out of it. I am also not doing a shower and have asked them to not get me a gift, to balance it out. Hope this helps! what a great thread!
  6. I wanted to book, him was told no, saw that other girls did and eventually got it my way. i felt the same, I wasn't going to pay 1500 for a crappy DJ that they wouldn't tell me who it is, or 800 for 5 hours with Doremixx. Its cheaper with the outside vendor fee (at least when I paid). when I called, I didn't call my WC directly, I called the hotline and asked about it anonomously and then argued that several brides had him, why couldn't I? It worked for me, and I think others. Not sure what the problem was with them in the first place. Good Luck!
  7. i owuld check wedding bee too. they have a large buy/sell section!
  8. Congrats on you wedding and thank you for posting a review! I can't wait to read it!
  9. I want in on these conversations as well! I am getting married at AB on 12-03! How much have you ladies gotten figured out so far?
  10. Hey! We all had that problem with the DJ's and was able to get it overridden, but i think it may have to do with when we booked our weddings. good luck!
  11. Love them! So funny! i used Ginger too and these are my save the dates too! We have good taste!
  12. My fee's for outside vendors were 500, but i believe it has to do with when you signed your contract. Most of my planning is done, we really just need to pick out our songs and invitation wording. I would try to plan ahead as much as possible, becuase I have noticed that they keep jacking up the prices! Center pieces went up since i booked! Melissa, I can't wait to hear all about your wedding! You must be so excited!
  13. I read about it on here and asked my wedding coordinator. Im thinking about doing this instead of the donkey party...
  14. For my guest book (found this idea on here somewhere!) we are getting a vintage map of mexico and having our guests sign it and then we can hang it in our house!
  15. They quoted me 15/pp and 7.50 per child. Its 2 hours. i haven't decided on anything yet though, I still need to see who is going to come. For Friday, we got a free cocktail party from our TA so we are doing that at the WAVE lounge and we haven't bought the beer pong table, but i found one on amazon for around 60 bucks. I might be the most excited for that!!! You must be pumped!!! your wedding is almost here!
  16. I had to pay 500x2 for photo and DJ We are using Juan Navarro and DJ Doremixx! They both got amazing reviews and the DJ is cheaper than the hotels even with the 500 vendor fee!
