  1. Hey Laura, You can go to the Lomas travel site to get an idea. they are pretty expensive. I am using my centerpieces twice, to justify it, and the orchids are so pricey. here is a pic of my bouquet and my bridesmaids bouquets. Mine is 200(250 minus the free flowers) and the girls are 80. I am doing the high centerpieces, that are actually a part of the set up and decorations sections. They are meant to be on the beach, and we are going to use it there and on the tables. hope this helps! Kerry bride.bmp
  2. Hey Ash, I chose the pearl package. I couldn't really see the benefit of the others, and I am still holding a private event. we are using the reservations at another time instead! I hope this helps! Kerry
  3. No Problem! Glad i could help! If desert already comes with the meal, why serve cake too! So exciting! Beach olympics sounds awesome!
  4. Hey Gin Booties! check out the Karisma resorts! You can get a room block and get your room free, and they have pretty good wedding packages. Where they get you is the extras like colored sheers and flowers. It all depends on how you want to do it!
  5. I am getting married at Azul Beach in Decemeber and from what I have heard, the onsite coordinators will charge you for set up. Most girls have said that its been between 50 and 200 for all decorations and favors etc. I hope this helps. Its still way cheaper than purchasing it from them!
  6. I'm with you on this one!!! I still want to wear one though even if its just for me!
  7. Here is my 2 cents! Of all the reviews I have read, Cakes don't seem to be a strong point at karisma. They are also crazy expensive and most people have said that not a lot of people even ate them. So here is what I did. When I chose my menu, I did the pick two dinner menu, but for desert, I'm having a lunch option of tres leches cake, which is a great mexican cake. My FI and I are getting a 20 dollar cake for us, that we will cut, but that way, there still is cake!
  8. Congrats! From what I understand, the storms only last about 30 min and then everything clears up!
  9. Thank you so much! Good to know! Any place for white lights or laterns? We are suppossed to have our reception on the beach. Do you think it will be to windy?
  10. Hi Emma, I am planning on bringing my own fabric. I found a website that has 40 yards of organza for 26! Much better than 300! Ill post it tomorrow, its on my work computer.
  11. Any AB brides out there know about lighting? Can we bring xmas lights? If so, where can you hang them? Also, what is the wave lounge looking like on space? Could you have a 40 person reception there?

  15. Thanks for all the answers!!! My colors are hot pink and Orange. Looking to sell anything? We can't have the reception at the terrace ince we don't have enough people, so it is going to be on the beach. Pics would be awesome! My email is [email protected]. How were the rooms? How was the DJ? I think we have the same one. I do have a photog picked out already, but your pics look incredible! Thanks again!

This is where you choose everything, although if you have pics in mind, your wedding coordinator can price everything out for you! Good luck and congrats! Kerry
