    So I have been lurking around for a while now. and I thought it's time to be proper and introduce myself. Hello- I'm getting married (as it stands now) in Treasure Cay, Abaco, Bahamas on a private beach. In November 2012. I'm mostly doing DIY stuff and hopefully will post about it here. I'm practical and very experienced in weddings and I'm hoping I won't fall into the trap of sweating the small stuff. Soo officially, this is my HELLO!!

    I'm thinking of doing the exact same thing. but I'm goign to use a professional local printer and then put them togeather myself. I cannot afford the headake of printing on my semi-pro printer. good luck!

    It is tough to hear sometimes, especially in this economy, even big budget weddings are more "conservative". Ultimately It's really just about what you want and what your willing and able to give to get it. Don't allow anyone's negative thoughts affect you and your enjoyment with planing your wedding

    As for packing- even tho you will be at a resort, you will mostly wear beach ware. I really wouldn't wear heals, but thats just me... it's way to casual of a place, well maybe a nice wedge would be nice for a night out.

    Miss Bubbles, Pink sand is on my life to-do list (bucket list sounds too depressing). I saw an article in coastal living and they featured orange sand, olive sand and purple sand too- from different parts of the world. I have it taped up next to my desk to remind myself.. one day... but at least Harbour Island isnt too far away!!
