Disazaja just a bit of clarification on the table set up, is this what your tables will look like? Are all the table clothes this sort of satin finish or is that extra? How much are they charging you for colored napkins? Is this the centerpiece your going for and how much is that? Oh and the chairs, these are like $6 a chair? Gosh can easily go over your budget on the table decor alone! When she sends you pics of the lanterns from this weekends wedding can you please post? Thanks again!

I know you arent doing your ceremony on the beach but was there any indication of the location are they all pretty much in the same place on the beach? The food review was super helpful!! Good to know about the steak! Did they offer an alternative to the soup option, seems bizarre that they would even have soup in the carribean for a starter, like really its 90 degrees who wants to eat soup?! As far as the bridal salon I suppose since its in the spa you cant even rent it out if you wanted to huh? Did you have a favorite restaurant for a possible rehearsal dinner option? As far as the hair and make up trial, sooo good to know I will be sure we bring makeup options. Did you get a chance to check out the club on site? So as you know I am a fan of the Allure but this mermaid I must say has a bit more sex appeal to it and you are rocking it! I think both are gorgeous dresses but my choice is the mermaid. I think MIL's tend to be a bit more conservative and so naturally they veer towards safe princess type dresses. Just my 2 sense

Can you repost a pic of both dresses? The Allure 8862 gave me alot of trouble myself it was def one of my tops!! Went back and forth a gazillion times. I dont recall what your mermaid dress looked like the one you ultmately purchased.

Natalie ahhhhh no way?! Totally going to try and find it online!! I have yet to see it on someone in white. My episode wont air til January. On another note, just jumping out of my skin waiting to hear from the 2 girls that are having their weddings now and the one doing her site visit. I did hear from Susan in regards to the lanterns for decor in Bar Higuey, the ones with LED batterys. They are seriously out of their minds at $20 per lantern and she estimates needing 40-50. Totally wanted to send her this smiley. . She did however say we can bring our own and they do not charge to set them up

Ladies if you have any leftover lanterns or batteries I will gladly take them off your hands. Acqua, coral or white in any size. Thanks!

Like you all I am trying to find a short dress to wear after the reception to continue to party in. I want something that still feels somewhat "bridally" but also can serve for a good party dress to keep the celebration going. Sorry in advance I know I went overboard. BeJean we decided to bring our photographer just a bit disappointed I have to use them for videographer services . New outside vendor policy really sucks! Like we are bring bullied to use vendors we dont want to use grrrr!

Grr I cant upload on my phone send me your email and I will send them to you that way. As of now I am bringing candles, napkins, and table ascents (ie: schools, starfish...that sort of thing) In additon to of course menus for the tables and programs for the cermony, raffia fans, etc.

Natalie: Jellyfish restaurant is amazing and if you can afford it, well worth it. I have attached their brochure/pricing. As far as centerpieces ironically the only upgraded options I have seen only include flowers. (Also attached) I would be very much interested in seeing what you have...the non floral centerpiece upgrade options. Can you please post them or email them to me at [email protected].

We have decided to NOT use them for our pictures but we plan to use them for their videography services. I would be thrilled if someone could share their video with me, puuhhhlllease? I have tried to get one from them but they keep sending me the same video of a couples beach ceremony. I am actually interested in seeing a video inclusive of the bride/groom preperation, ceremony and after ceremony pics. Thank a bunch!

Disazaja: You mentioned in a previous post about getting pricing for the lanterns to decorate Bar Higuey did they ever get that too you? Can you please share what they quoted you? On another note, cant wait for BusyBride2012 to come back and post her reveiw! So excited to hear how her experience was.
