Of course when you are looking for those particular inspiration pics that you know you saw somewhere but now that you need them you cant seem to find them...yup that sounds about right! Anyway so I am going back and forth with chair sashes. Are you ladies just doing all one color sash. The organza chair sashes are are about $0.50 each and so it makes it affordable to be able to incorporate both our colors for the beach ceremony. The questions then becomes is doubling up on both colors per chair to have a nice blend too much? I can also do every other color or just all the same? What do you guys think? And puuhhlease if you have pics please post. Seems like no one doubled up on chair sashes b/c I only found one pic. Am I out of my mind...maybe just a dumb idea, IDK? Thanks! Hmmm seems risky? If it was that simple then why have an outside vendor fee of $1K? This kind of scares me...keep me posted on how this works out with the photographers. Ladies: I recently changed my wedding colors because I am over trying to figure out coral. Seems everyone has a different perception of what Coral is some more pink than others or more peachy anyway. I dont recall sharing ideas with you guys on your thoughts for the tables in regards to colors and runners Vs. table clothes and centerpieces. Would love to bounce ideas off you guys? As far as colors I have officially changed my colors to now be...orange/aqua LOL. What are you colors? Runners or Overlays? Bringing your own centerpieces or just sucking up the additional $400+ and having the resort do them?

JRM I suppose I was never informed that the cocktail hour only included one drink per person?!! How did that work out? Do they charge you per extra drink? Seems a bit unreasonable dont ya think? Was this a signature drink and did you have a say as to what it was?

Ladies for those of you that are doing turquoise/Aqua I thought I would share my newest find, they are plastic chargers and super lightweight! The resort charges I believe something like $6 a charger. Anyway Michaels has a great selection but here are my aqua chargers, $2 each!

Uhura...congrats on booking airfare, thats a big weight to be lifted!! How much did you guys spend? I am still waiting for Airtran to release prices for May and hoping that will impact things a bit. We have a son who would have just turned 2 and I cant express my Grrrrr for having to purchase a $500 ticket for him, ^*@^*@. Who will sit on my lap the whole time.

Gorgeous and my goodness everything came together so nicely JRM!! Quick questions the centerpieces that you brought with you were they glass and how much did the resort charge for the flowers that went into them? Were all the lanterns the same size, large? So you were able to get around the outside vendor fee by just paying for DJ Mannia hotel stay for the night? Love the fire show, really nice lil perk! What was the time frame and shipping cost to ship your items prior too? Did you use Tropical Pictures and any chance you did a video as well? Thanks again for the great review!!

Welcome back Julissa!! You look gorgeous!! I am very much looking forward to the video, I assume Tropical Pictures did it? How was the food? Lots of onlookers at the gazebo? Ely....hey stranger , I got my personalized backs from Vistaprint and used a groupon, I can send pics if you want to see them. So far I have personalized T-shirts also from vistaprint, first aid kits, hand santizer, travel sunblock, disposable cameras, and a deck of cards. As I get closer I will purchase things for our "Oh shit kit" which include pepto, tylenol, alka seltzer, etc. I will also add a brochure/welcome book with things about the resort specifically restaurants, and include schedule of any excursions we will be doing and games for anyone who wants to participate. As I dont want the week to be scheduled and have to keep in mind people are on vaca too. I am waiting for Airtran to release there fares because the prices as you ladies know from NY are ridiculous right now! I am hoping one everyone has their fares out then it will get a bit more competitive and things will go down a bit. P.S. I started a Vistaprint thread on here for groupons and one of the girls just posted that there is an active one now that needs to be purchased within the nxt 6 days and its $17 for $70 worth of merchandise. It must be used my Jan 2013 but huge savings as all my visit print stuff was purchased with groupons and is sooo reasonably priced.

nordero I am having the same concern as this will definetly impact our guests attendance. Jetblue just released their airfare for May and its $700!! Although when we first started looking it was $400, all other sites are showing $500. Sigh just not sure if they will go up or come down as we get closer???
