  1. I am interested in the chapsticks...will send you a PM. Thanks!
  2. Brownskingirl: Any pics of you in your dress? I am curious to see where it falls in the front...as far as length.
  3. Thanks for watching it guys!! It was definetly an experience, they have just confirmed that they will be flying out to DR to cover the wedding!! Super exciting and that of course will air Jan 2014. Thanks for the extra lists ladies. Curls if possible can you chime in on your dinner choices and what you thought of them? What was the consensus amoung your guests did most do chicken/steak/fish (if you gave the option of course) ? I didnt realize they were charging extra for the second chair sash color, I was for sure that Susana said that was no extra fee? And just so that you guys know when I made my deposit well over a year ago I had them add to my invoice the DJ service, Cocktail hour and of course the package. The DJ was added at $488 for the 3 hours, clearly it has since gone up to $708 and they wont honor my price on the invoice. So %(&*#(*$ mad about it...she responds with a cut and paste of the tiny print that says "Prices subject to change WITHOUT NOTICE". Ugh! How the fk are you able to budget when prices continue to change?! Super tight about this right now!
  4. Finally got my message in a bottle invites in!! And I am soo excited about them and cant wait to get them in the mail!!! Printed on aged parchment paper with burnt edges on the invites, response cards and bottle labels. The bottles have sand and seashells in them and raffia is wrapped around the top of each. They will be in shipped in brown boxes that will look like suitcases. =)
  5. Thanks Natalie...ironically last year I had them add the service to my invoice and it said $488 so they have to honor that or else I will go ape shit on them LOL. Anyway I finally got my MIB invites in last night and I am pumped about em. Cant wait for our guests to receive them! I know this isnt the thread for them but had to share =) Invites were printed on aged parchment paper with burnt edges on both invites, response cards and bottle labels. Sand, seashells in the bottle in cute boxes that I will wrap to replicate a suitcase =)
  6. Can you someone please clear up this DJ confusion for me before I loose my mind?! So what they consider a basic DJ package includes: A DJ and all the equipment the full DJ package includes DJ, MC, lights and some fire thing. What exactly are the fire things that come with the full package? What exactly does the DJ do for the basic package? Is he there just too look cute? I mean what is his purpose? Does he change the songs and actually DJ and just doesnt speak? Will he not announce us as we walk in? There is nearly a $500 plus difference in the 2 packages and I need to understand what that is for. What I gather is that its for the lights, fire things and for the DJ to speak...since I suspect in the basic package he doesnt talk? LOL
  7. We are doing an AHR for 125 people. We are traveling from 5/16-5/23 and our AHR is 6/15 which is way too close. Big mistake on my part as I feel a bit stressed thinking we have such little time to finish last minute things up for the CT celebration. 90% needs to be done before we leave for DR. Biggest piece of advice....give yourself enough time from the time you return until the AHR!
  8. I am interested in the orange napkins...sent you a PM. When you respond can you also include shipping to 06610
  9. Curls, thanks for a great review!!! What were you dinner options? Thoughts? So that I understand correctly did you extend your reception for an additional 3 hours for a total of 6 hours? What did you guys do aftewards?
  10. Thanks Natalie! What is the cost for the extra hour? From what I gather that is normal, my wedding is in May and I havent been asked anything yet it either. It appears from all the past brides that all this remains undecided until you meet with your WC the few days prior to your date to work out details. Did you opt for the full DJ service of $700 something?
  11. Curls welcome back!!!!! Looking forward to your review. I too sent you a request on FB under Tamara.
  12. Ladies: Is anyone making a program for the wedding day? If so, what time are you anticipating having your wedding. I thought 4:00 would be good since the sunset on my wedding day is 7:00. Figure one hour cocktail hour and shoot for like a 7:00 reception? Still think there might be too much time in between the end of the cocktail hour and the time the reception starts. The package includes 3 hours are most extending it an additional hour? For those who had their weddings already what did your schedule look like in terms of times??
  13. Reign banquet style dinner is included in the Tangerine Package: Your entitled to pick one of each. You can give your guests options but of course they charge you above your primary choice. For instance you get one choice, lets say chicken then anyone who has fish or meat is $16 per person per plate. If you opt for either the fish or meat for your primary anyone who eats chicken $10. Same applies for the soup and salad options but of course are different prices. The buffet options are even more and I believe have a minimum amount of people and those packages start at $40. I will try and find the menu and attach it here. SALADS Tomato salad with goat cheese pesto dressing Cesar salad Capresse salad Curried marinated chicken and tomato salad SOUPS Genovesse minestrone soup with garlic croutons Asparagus soup Chicken noodles soup Onion soup, parmesan cheese crostini MAIN DISH Pesto marinated broiled chicken Pan seared fish medaillon, parmesan cheese risotto, asparagus and red bell peppper coulis Glazed pork chops in old mustard sauce Beef tendeirlon with potatos and vegetables Sirloin steak parisienne coffee with vegetables DESSERTS Crema Brulée Luke warm half baked dark chocolate fondant Fruit cocktail with tequila and mint fruit jelly Black forest cake
