  1. You could prepare them before you leave and send them out to your guests a few weeks early. We chose things for our OOT bags that will pack easy, such as bags that lie completely flat and can stack on top of each other without taking up to much room.
  2. We also didn't want to do the traditional gifts for the GM. We have decided that we are going to buy them flip cameras. That way they will be able to use them on their trip. http://www.amazon.com/Flip-UltraHD-Video-Camera-Generation/dp/B0040702HA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1306212297&sr=8-1
  3. For those of you who were married already, did any one use the resort flowers? And if you did, did you just chose them when you got there and let them know that you need BM and GM flowers, or did you let them know in advance?
  4. Beautiful dress!! I was allowed to take as many pictures as I wanted to of any dresses I wanted to and I live in Canada. Maybe its just certain stores policies to not allow pictures.
  5. I went over budget on mine to, but I was okay with that because I thought, this is something I'm going to be looking at for the rest of my life and I will get what I want not just something that fits the budget haha!!
  6. We went with just the totes from cheaptotes. They are cheap and they look cheap. We plan on putting just a simple logo on it, such as a palm tree or something, but not our names or anything like that. We don't have a huge budget for our OOT bags so we really are only putting items which we think they will use, rather then the usual stuff. We had pondered going with more expensive bags but we decided not to due to the cost and also I know for myself I have tons of bags laying around that never get used anyways. We thought at least these bags could be used later for grocery bags or something. I like the idea of the throw away ones, then people can just toss them if they don't want them! When deciding on stuff for our bags we also took into consideration the amount of stuff to put in them as we don't want to have to haul tons of stuff with us!
  7. At first I was okay with my FI not helping out with the wedding planning. I go to school full time, and work full time and hardly have any time to spend with my FI, so the time we did spend together I didn't want to be always constantly talking about the wedding. But then I realized it is both of our weddings and he should care about it too. Most of the time the answer I got were " I don't care" or "Do what you want" which sucked cause I wanted some input. But at the same time I am kind of a control freak so I knew letting hiim do things by himself probaly wouldn't be so good! In the end I think just sit down with him and explain you are a bit stressed about everything and you need help! Good luck! And we are always here when you need to vent!
  8. It is your wedding day and you are allowed to do and wear whatever you wish, no matter what your age is. If you want to chop the train off then do it! If you want to wear a veil then wear one, and if you dont then dont! Just do what makes you happy no matter how old you are!
  9. I don't know what you could make the veil into, but you could use both of the veils and put them together to make a two tiered veil then you still include both of them.
  10. We tired three ways to get people to RSVP and most of them never ever did, and we made it clear if you weren't coming you still needed to RSVP. It is very frustrating!
  11. That sounds like a tough decision. I think ultimately you need to do what you want, so that you have the most memorable wedding ever. If it was just the two of us we were going to have a dinner on the beach after the pictures and ceremony. I guess it just comes down to what you really want for your special day!
  12. I went to an Old Navy store this morning and they said the $1 was only in the USA, not in Canada, and they were $2. Maybe it was just the store i went to
  13. I think everyone's skin is so different you just have to keep trying things until something works for you. I have tried tons of products until I finally found what works for me. Once you find it you will know!
  14. I agree. For awhile I was obsessed with vistaprint because everything was free. But the shipping is what really cost. I have had to stop looking at their emails and just deleting them right away or else I feel the need to purchase more 'free' items
  15. I checked, they are $2. Still not bad, but not as good as $1!!!
