  1. I would made a spreadsheet of all the resorts and put them side by side so you can compare them to help yourself eliminate the ones to finally come to your resort that you will get married at! Good luck!

    Vow Renewal

    Welcome! Happy vow renewal planning!!
  3. We framed a few of our favorite photos and hung them in our house. We also did a collage of photos on one wall in our house. I dont want people to walk into our house and all they seen was wedding photos of us so we decided to keep them to a minimum. We instead put all our photos into a photo book that we created on Mypublisher. We have that on our coffee table so people can flip through it if they choose. We also purchased photo books for our parents of our wedding photos are a gift to them for all their help (I made these ones on blurb, which I highly recommend!).
  4. I'm not a flower person so we kept it simple. I had a bouquet, my bridesmaid had a bouquet and my husband and groomsman had small boutineers. We didnt bother with flowers for anyone else.
  5. I didn't make this inspiration board, but I did use it during our planning:
  6. Show us your Inspiration Boards!
  7. Our guests loved our keycard holders. They were using them all week long and they were great to carry tip money and key card. I purchased these from OTC: http://www.orientaltrading.com/api/search?Ntt=neon+key And the plastic part from Ebay from seller gcishoponline http://www.ebay.ca/itm/25-Business-ID-Card-Badge-Holder-w-Zipper-Vertical-ZV-/130489995128?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item1e61cf4f78
  8. I think the item we included in our bags that everyone loved the most was our keycard holders and coiled wraps for arm. People loved them as they held tip money and room keys, were waterproof and easy to take anywhere. I would include those for sure.
  9. I was really torn between wearing a veil and not wearing a veil. My mom kept telling me it would be the only time I would be able to wear a veil. In the end I opted not to wear a veil (I had one and even took it with me just in case I changed my mind). It was really really windy at the gazebo by the ocean where I was married so in the end I didnt wear it due to the wind. It would have been flapping all over the place and probably woudln't have stayed in. Instead I had just a simple white hair flower. I think if you want a veil go for it.
  10. Have you looked on Etsy. There are tons of there and you can always ask for a customized one.
  11. I love that too. Wish we would have done that on our wedding day!
  12. We sent out our STDs about 11 months in advance. We had everyone book by June so we never ever did send out a formal invite. Rather we sent out an informal postcard with futher wedding information on it that wasnt included on our STDs. By not doing formal invites we saved a lot of money!
  13. Here is the one that we used. I found a template on here from somewhere and tweaked it a bit. Hope this helps: Survival Kit Template.docx
  14. We used shutterfly for our photo sharing. It was really easy to use and alot of our guests loved the idea as well. I would recommend shutterfly.
  15. Sorry, your dates don't fit with my starfish as there is a bride leaving Dec 10.
  16. Have a fantastic time! Hope your wedding is everything you ever imagined it was! Can't wait to hear your review!
  17. You girls are all so amazing! I was really devestated to find out my starfish is MIA. It really meant to much to me. I have shed some tears after learning you girls are purchasing a new one (too many night shifts with not enough sleep probably haha). I'm so happy that the brides on the list will actually be able to enjoy the starfish, minus jwed.
  18. I actually heard that too, but I was too scared to wash them and wreck them. I suppose if you have an extra bag you could try it and see if it really does.
  19. I'm very sad to tell the remaining brides on the list that the starfish is MIA. Canadiangirl was the last one to have it and I am unable to get a hold of her, and unfortanately Jwed12 has not received the starfish. I'm assuming canadianbride still has it. I have been trying to get in contact with her but it has been unsuccessful. If anyone knows any way of contacting her I would greatly appreciate it. And sorry to the rest of the brides that were expecting to have him for your special day.
  20. I did a fingerprint tree and I got mine off Etsy. I used this seller : http://www.etsy.com/shop/ForKeepsDesigns She was so great to work with and customized our tree for us. Most are made for weddings of over 50 people but seeing as we were only having less then 20 we didnt want a big huge empty tree. Here is what our finished one looks like
