    Welcome! Congrats on finally deciding on a destination wedding!! We aren't doing a traditional reception thing either, just more of a dinner that is provided and then go dancing and party either on the beach or at the disco. I found that picking the location was the hardest part, and once we had picked it we still had second thoughts. Now, we are extremely excited and happy the resort we chose. Go with what feels right! Happy planning:)

    Welcome! You will find tons of information on this site about anything and everything! Your budget sounds reasonable, as long as you stick to it and dont go overboard with everything, especially with a large amount of guests. Good luck with all your planning:)

    I would say that October would be a good time to have your RSVPs due, then that way if you need any final numbers, either to give to the resort or for your own good to make OOT bags ect.

    Sometimes It takes a little while for your thing to change in order to be able to download attachments. I think it took a day or so before I was able to after I reached my post amount.

    All of those cakes are amazing!! I think no matter what you decide on make sure your resort can accomodate it, or consider hiring an outside vendor for your cake, if it means so much to your FI!

    I'm glad to know there are other brides combining them! At first we didn't know if it would be right to do them both at the same time together but we are going to. We just need to narrow down the song we are going to use, we have a few picked out!

    I don't think we are going to do programs. We are going to be a small group and pretty much everyone knows everyone and we just think it would be a waste of our time and money to make them.
