    We were able to put all our stuff in suitcases. I put some in my suitcase, lots in my hubbys suitcase, and a few items in family members suitcases that had extra room.

    I agree. DW are becoming so popular that most resorts have to hold at least 2-3 weddings per day because of popularity. There was 3 weddings on the same day as mine and honestly I coudlnt even tell. I never once saw the other wedding or wedding groups anywhere. They made me feel like my wedding was the most important. I think honestly it comes down to good wedding planners verse how many weddings per day there are. You could go to a resort with one wedding per day but have the worst wedding planners, or a resort that does multiple with well organized great wedding planners.

    Welcome! I have no idea what you would do when planning a Thailand wedding. However, I'm sure there are a few other brides on here with whom you could connect with. Try searching for your destination to see if there are any threads about that. Good luck!

    I agree, I would just change it yourself. It really isn't hard to change your name just a bit time consuming to go everywhere and get it changed. In Alberta, the first thing I had to change was my drivers license. After that is changed I was able to change everything else from passport, SIN card and bank accounts. Some of the places I don't go to often such as Drs office and Dentist office I decided I would just change the next time I was there rather then make a special trip just to change my name.

    We were married at 4pm so I didnt eat breakfast but rather just ate lunch. I dont normally eat breakfast so that was fine. I had a light lunch, with lots of fruit. I think if you just eat what you normally eat you will be fine.

    I haven't washed the bags. I'm not sure how they would turn out. Maybe you could try handwashing it first to see if that works.

    I agree!!! Right from the minute I left my room to the minute I took the dress off I was recieving so many compliments. It was so nice of complete strangers to congratulate us and wish us a happy marriage, not to mention how pretty they told me I looked haha! I would have worn my dress all the rest of the days if I could have!

    I think if you added a colorful tag they would look great. With out OOT bags we wanted to make them pretty simple so people would actually use them and re use them once home. I do agree that a flower may come off while in transport, and not everyone (guys) probably dont want flowers on their bags. We did a colorful tag to spruce up our bags and our guests could take it off if they wanted to.

    They are basically the same thing. It would be cheaper to get them through Walmart! I couldn't find them anywhere when I bought mine so I had to go through OTC.

    I can't tell you whats best for you, all I can tell you is that we loved our wedding at the Gran Bahia Principe in Jamaica. There were there occasional kids but you hardly saw any at all the week we were there. Good luck with your decision.

    We made a list of what was important to us and what we were looking for from a destination/resort. From there we looked at ease of getting married (some places are harder them others to legally get married) and we were able to narrow it down to Jamaica. We had a certain time period that we could travel and Jamaica fit perfectly with that.
