  1. That is so exciting! Have tons of fun! Can't wait to hear all about it when you get back!
  2. I have a few things I would like to get rid of before I move to a new home. All are free, just pay shipping!! - 5 tote bags from Vista Print - 27 packs of Meclazine (expire 02/12) - 8 coiled key rings with 8 plastic key card holders
  3. What a unique idea. I would love to see it when you are finished making it!
  4. I think that would look cute with them with white ones and you with a blue one!! Thats what I was going to do, but ultimately went with two of the same color
  5. I like the pin wheels!!! I think its a good idea as long as they are big enough and don't look to small, also it might be annoying if its super windy out the day you get married! I definately am not crafty enough to make my own button bouquet thats why I went with the parasols. I just think they look lovely in pictures too!
  6. Wow, sounds like you will be busy! I live in Medicine Hat, about 6 hours south of Edmonton. What brings you out west? Hopefully you like the heat, today its 39 C outside, its almost unbearable, especially since it feels like 43C!! Have you bought all your grooms stuff yet? Depending on what you are looking for we purchased ours at Tommy Bahama, they have lots of nice stuff and its mostly all on sale right now!
  7. I bet you are getting excited! Lets hope the induction works! I did purchase some parasols. They were relatively cheap. I got them from http://www.weddingfavours.ca/p/3050/Coloured+Paper+Umbrellas.html. It is a Canadian Site though. I also looked at getting them from http://www.lunabazaar.com/parasols-by-color.aspx which I think is an American site. My one friend was married a few months ago and she had bouquets made of buttons and they looked really neat! She made hers herself though, I have looked on etsy but they are pretty expensive.
  8. I totally recommend getting a fakey ring! Its the best thing I ever did, and hardly anyone can even tell the difference! Like you I never take my ring off so it just feels naked without it so its nice to be able to wear something on that finger that somewhat resembles my ering.
  9. Just noticed that you put her in for 2011 but her dates said 2012. Not sure which is corrent.
  10. I have very sensitive, oily, acne prone skin on my face. I find that if I use nomral sunscreen on my face I turn into a pimpled, oily mess. I use neutrogena daily lotion healthy defense instead. You can get it with spf of 30 or 45, I usually use just the 30. I find that its light and my skin absorbs it quickly, therefore, leaving less oil!! As to the body I usually use what ever is on sale and cheapest!
  11. Oh my, I'm definately in tears!! What an amazing story! Thank you so much for sharing!
  12. My inital budget was $1000 for my dress. I had all the money saved up and when I started looking my mom told me she would be paying for my dress, which I appreciate so much! However, I knew even more then ever I needed to keep it under budget as I didn't want my mom to break the bank paying for my dress! My dress ended up being $900 dollars, so underbudget by a little bit.
  13. I love the idea of using boxes, especially since they would pack really easily and not take up to much luggage space!
  14. You could put together some OOT bags for all of your guests. Thats what we are doing rather then buying every person a gift individually. OOT bags don't have to be expensive, ours are less then $10 per bag. Try searching to find examples of what people include in them.
  15. I often use google to do the very same thing. I find it much easier to try to weed through all the results I get from searching on this site.
  16. Congrats!!! I bet you can't wait to get that little baby out! I hope everything goings well!
