I am doing french for my fingers and turqoise blue for my toes!

I will definately be tanning before we leave, if I don't I know I will look like a lobster on my wedding day, which is what I don't want. Its probably going to take me a few months to get an optimal tan though, as I burn easily!

I will have to see if I can find Blue Lizard in Canada anywhere!

Sounds a lot like my FI. He hates shopping and had no idea what he wanted. He just said any ring would do, but I want him to be happy with it and want to wear it, although with his work I know he wont be wearing it often. He also didn't want to spend a lot of money on it when he isn't going to be wearing it a whole lot. This is what he ended up getting:

My FI is the same! He really has no interest in seeing my dress, so it makes it pretty easy to hide!!

All of our guests are staying at the same resort as us so in regards to OOT bags we are handing ours out at the resort. We are doing a pre travel brochure and plan to mail it out about a month before we leave. We are going to include things such as what to pack, information about our destination, wedding events and timeline, and other information that we feel might be necessary to include. If you search on here you will find tons of examples.

A reverse DW how neat! As to guest list this was a big issue between my Fi and I. I wanted to have only immediate family and close friends, but in the end we invited more then just that. My parents each have 12 siblings and I have a million and one cousins (well not really, but seems like it!!), who are mostly all married and have their own kids. The invite all of those would be about 200 people and my FIs family would be about another 200. So what we did was just addressed the invites to each of my aunties and uncles and family. We knew that most of my cousins and their families wouldnt come but we still wanted them to be invited and not felt left out. In the end we ended up sending out almost 150 invites and we only have 16 people coming plus us.

This was something that I really pondered when deciding whether or not to have a bridal party and if I did who would I choose. Because I have moved around quite a bit I have lost contact with some friends. My other close friends are spead all over the country and its hard to all get together. We do have a bridal party, one each. My FI chose his best friend and I chose my future sister in law as I knew she would be there. I wanted to ask some of my other closer friends but Im glad I didnt as they arent coming anyways. Its always a touch decision and looking back I wish we would have had none, but rather just witnesses. It would have been cheaper and also less headaches. Good luck with your decision!

I know I enquired a few times about this and each time they clearly stated that they needed notarized copies, so we payed the $40 dollars just to be on the safe side. Would hate to get all the way to Jamaica and not be legally married over $40 dollars!

It sucks having to get the ring fixed and be without it. I just went 4 weeks without it, which really sucked but now Its back and better then ever! I imagine with a pear shaped diamond you might have to get a custom ring. I personally know a few people who have gotten custom bands and they were so much happier because it fit better with their ering.

I found our TA was extremely helpful in comparing resorts and ultimately helping us chose our resort. She was able to make a handy chart we could compare each resort for certain aspects, such as size, amenities, wedding packaes ect. I suppose you could always do this yourself to have an easy comparison tool. Happy planning!
