Oh I love this dress!!

I say its your wedding and you can do whatever you want!! I have been to tons of weddings (too many!) and know that pretty much the seating chart is only used for dinner and after everyone is done eating it basically goes out the window and people move around to visit with other people. I know some of the funnest weddings I have been to have been ones were I sit at a table with people I dont really know. I always seem to get to know them and have a good time. Do what you wish and put people where you want!!

I love this bracelet in the orange! I think this will look great against the purple dresses and with the orange flowers! My vote is for this one!

A program is something I hadnt even thought about until now!!

There are tons of ways to have a cheap, budget friendly wedding without looking or feeling cheap. We are on a very tight budget, we are both students, and I still feel like we are going to have the wedding of our dreams. There has been times when I wish our budget was more flexible as there are some little extras I want to do but just not able to. Really depends what you are looking for in your wedding, Good luck.

My FI and I battled for a while over this topic. I wanted to bring someone from home and he wanted to hire someone locally. I should tell you all we are on a super tight budget as we are both students and paying for everything ourselves. He assumed it would be cheaper to hire someone locally then to bring one with us. We started looking into photographers from home and were quoted (for the most part) rediculous prices. They wanted us to pay for them to fly there and their hotel plus for the pictures. In the end we did end up hiring someone locally from Jamaica and even though I havent had my wedding I am extremely happy we chose who we did. There are pros and cons to both, for us it just wasnt in the budget to bring someone from home.

I cant provide you with information in regards to that specific resort as I am getting marraied at GBP Jamaica. However, we decided to get married in the wedding gazebo vs the beach for a little more privacy and also a bit of shade. We will take pictures on the beach though. As to a reception at the GBP Jamaica its all at a restraunt and semi private so thats what we are doing. We arent doing a formal reception after dinner, just goign to hang out and go to the disco. Our group is a lot of fun so we will make our own fun! Happy planning!!

We also started with no idea when we first looking into destination weddings. We did research on tons of locations and resorts. From there we were able to narrow down our search by making a list of what was and wasnt important to us. From there we had a list of a few resorts we were considering so we went to a travel agent to help us narrow it down further. Good luck with your search!

I'm sad to read about all your troubles you had. I just keep trying to think positive and tell myself that that can happen anywhere. We are also not bringing extra decorations, or toppers, or hiring any extra people to try and aviod things like this. But in the end you are married and thats all that matters! You will have a great story to tell your grandkids one day about your wedding in Jamaica! And Im sure excited to hear that Merrick was great, we have booked him too!!

Are you able to try to dress on? Or are you ordering it online? Because if possible I would try on dresses with the same fabric to see how it feels. My dress i made of taffeta and its not to hot at all, its really light actually. I was really picky when choosing my dress material as I didn't want anything to hot. There were a few taffeta dresses I tried on though that were pretty heavy and hot.

My FI got his at Le Chateau. It was on clearance so we got it for a great deal!! They are really good quality also.

Did you try looking on ebay perhaps for one that is the color you are looking for?? Its worth a shot!

Stunning dress!! I agree that you should try on the veils at the store you purchased your dress. That way you will be able to see what will look good with your dress and what you prefer! I honestly think you could do any veil with that and it would look good though!

Love your bags, they look great!

I am going to put ours together before we leave. I don't think they will leak, I made sure the caps were on tight. And most of our liquid products, aloe vera and hand sanitizer, have little metal things on the opening so they can't leak.

I bought our OOT bags from cheap totes and I think for the price they will work great!

Not sure if you are having a reception or not but maybe she could emcee. Thats a really important job to have!
