  1. Those look amazing! Thanks for the instructions. I am going to attempt to do these myself and this will help immensly!
  2. You should be able to combine them. I find though, that it will only let you put 1 of the same free items in your cart at a time. If you tried to order 2 sets of 100 free postcards only one set would show up free.
  3. I like both of them! They are both beautiful! Do you plan on having white bridesmaid dresses?
  4. Welcome! They Royal is a beautiful property and I didn't find the beach to be rocky at all.
  5. Welcome! I found the first few months of planning to be the most stressful. From picking the resort to securing a date and getting travel arrangements in place that was stressful. After all that the planning has been fun! I hope the stress lessens for you so you can enjoy this exciting time in your life!
  6. Welcome! We first considered Mexico for our DW. There are tons of amazing resorts, especially in the Mayan Riviera. What helped us immensly was to sit down and make a list of what was important to us, such as resort size, resort amenities, price, wedding packages ect. That helped us eliminate some resorts. From there we took a list of resorts to a travel agent who helped us further narrow down our search until we finally found our dream resort. Good luck!
  7. Welcome! Try searching for the thread for that resort. You should be able to find tons of information from past and future brides on there! Happy planning:)
  8. Welcome! You choose a beautiful resort!
  9. Welcome!! Happy planning:)
  10. Welcome! Choosing the resort was the hardest part for us as well. We bounced back and forth from location to locaation looking at different resorts. We finally narrowed down our list to about 5 resorts and went to a travel agent from there. Our travel agent helped us narrow it further until we had only 2 resorts to choose from. For us, the biggest thing was to sit down and make a list of what we were looking for in a resort, such as size, amenities, wedding packages ect. Good luck!

    Congrats!! Happy planning:)
  12. Welcome! Good luck with the planning!
  13. Welcome! We sent out our STDs about a year in advance. From there we had pretty much a 99% rsvp rate and never sent out formal invitations. We thought it was only respectful to give more time to our guests to get finances in place ect. We had about a 50% yes reply and 50% no reply. We kind of expected it, but decided to send inviations to guests we knew wouldnt be coming anyways. We chose an all inclusive resort for ease for our guests. As I am from Canada we have packages for all inclusive vacations. Its one price that includes everything, accomodations and travel. Our guests who are sharing rooms are paying less then singles staying in their own room. Happy planning:)
  14. Welcome! We strongly considered Hawaii (more specifically maui) for our wedding. We decided against it for a few reasons. Firstly, it was going to be more costly for our guests to come when adding in accomodations, travel, food, alcohol ect. as there are no all inclusive resorts. We are a younger crowd, and I wont lie, we drink alot and eat alot! Therefore, it was more cost effective to go with an all inclusive resort. Secondly, we wanted to have our wedding on the beach, but after reading up some information you are not allowed anything on the beach and they are all public. Therefore, you can have tons of weddings going on at the same time and the beaches can get pretty crowded. We wanted something a little more private. I guess it really depends what you are looking for and your budget. Unfortunately for us, Maui wasn't in our budget. Happy planning:)
  15. Welcome! And congrats on deciding on a resort! Try searching for the forum specifically about that resort. You should be able to find tons of past and future brides who can provide their specialized advice! Happy planning:)
  16. LOL Yeah, and hindsight I wish we would have just eloped. My FI wanted to and I didn't because I really wanted to have my family there. Now I wish we just would have. It has been nothing but a headache with all the travel bookings and what not. Also, some of the people I wanted to be there, like my brother, can't come anyways. I'm glad everyone else is coming, but looking back we should have just eloped.
  17. I think it would help us if you posted pictures of the rings you were considering and your engagement ring.
