  1. Thank you for sharing your wording you used. Its much appreciated!!
  2. I think the light grey/silver would accentuate all the other colors of your wedding!
  3. Thanks for the tip on towels. Its something we have considered putting in our OOT bags. I think now we will definetly do them!!
  4. I already have my Hep A & B due to working in the health care field. I didn't even consider Dukoral. Did you have to pay for it?
  5. The free package only includes the bouquet for the bride abd bout for the groom. Alot of brides order more flowers for their wedding, or don't like the flowers included in the wedding package so they pay for their own. I guess it just depends what you want for flowers. For me, flowers are not important at all and I can't imagine spending money on them. To each their own! As to photographer we decided against the resort photographer because I have only heard bad things about them. We have a pretty tight budget but did end up hiring a local Jamaican photographer as photos are important to us and we didnt trust the reviews from the resort photographer.
  6. Welcome!! We too are going with airtransat, and there wedding packages are different then the resort ones. We looked at going with airtransat wedding packages but found it easier and cheaper to just go with the packages offered at the hotel. We booked in January for a few reasons. It was cheaper then February, March and April and it was not in hurricane season. Also, my family owns a business and January was the best time to go away. Good luck with your planning!
  7. I too didn't want to buy formal bridesmaid dresses but rather find something from a store at a decent price. We found lots of nice dresses at Le Chateau, but eventually found bridesmaid dresses at the store Laura ( I am kind of embarassed to admit it because its where my mom and grandma shop) but they have a little section that has formal dresses.
  8. We decided to register (we absoutely were not going to) but so many people were asking where we were registered. I tried to explain to everyone we didnt want gifts, but some of my family who can't come is adament on buying us a gift.
  9. Etsy is a great site for wedding stuff. I have found some amazing things on there before!!
  10. I love those, they look great! Im just worried about them breaking in travel!
  11. Wow, those are so pretty! I would love to see a picture once you receieve them!
  12. Its a tricky spot to be in and I'm glad im not in your shoes. I imagine you will probably have a few people not come to your wedding due to the kids not being able to come to the wedding. One of my close friends recently was married in Mexico and like you she didn't want kids at the wedding, but they were more then welcome to come for the trip. What they did was hired some babysitters to take care of the kids and do activities with the kids for the ceremony and the dinner but after that kids were allowed. I guess its an option.
  13. I too had a similar problem. I choose the color turquoise for the girls dresses and everything else. I had no problem finding a dress in that color but trying to coordinate all the other decorations and what not soon because a hassle as nothing seemed to be the exact same color as each other. I found that I just had to end up going with what was closest and realize that not to many people will notice if the color is slightly different. You could also use different colors to accent so its not so noticable of the color difference. As to linens I found this site has the most options, try looking there to see if something will work. Plus, you can order swatch samples from there to find the color that is closest. http://www.weddinglinensdirect.com/index.html
