  1. Beverly told us they can have up to three weddings per day, but usually prefer to only do one and two if they have to. We were under the impression there was only one as well, but what can you do!
  2. I don't know any dresses that would match your description but I would suggest browsing tons of sites online. And also, most bridal stores don't carry every single gown so ask them if they have catalogues. You might have some luck. Good luck finding your dream dress!
  3. Welcome! I have never been there, but try doing a search on here and you should find some useful information.
  4. Welcome! I have never personally been there but a close family friend just returned. He had been to Jamaica before and said out of all the places he has stayed it was there least favorite. He said there wasn't much to do and found the food and accomodations not as nice as other places (I'm not sure where else they have stayed). But that being said, everyone has a different opinion on things! Good luck!

Welcome to the forum! You will find tons of useful information on this site. I can't help you much with vendors because we are just using the ones that come with our wedding package as we are having just close family and friends.
  6. Congrats! Happy Planning:)
  7. We really struggled picking our colors. At first we wanted to do something tropical, something that would look good with the sand, ocean and grass of the tropical places. We soon found that we were not fond of pinks, purples, and oranges. We then thought red, but decided against it. Blue is my favorite color and at first I thought it wouldnt look good in a tropical place, but then i realized that this is our wedding day and we will have to look at these pictures for the rest of our lives and want colors we enjoy! Therefore, we are going with a bright blue with green accents.

Congrats!! Sounds like you have a fair bit done already.
  9. Congrats! Good luck picking a destination. That was our hardest part!!
  10. We just got them a few days ago, and just sent them out. We thought the postcard with information was better then getting 100 postcards with the same thing when we only sent out 20. We plan on also using the blank postcards for RSVPs for our invitations and for photoshare cards. We chose slow shipping, which is 21 days, and it took pretty much the whole 21 days as we ordered them right after christmas. You can chose faster shipping if you need them shipped faster.
  11. We ordered our STD magnets right after Christmas, and just received them! We think they turned out great! We also ordered the 100 free postcards, and just left the back blank. We did this as we are having a small wedding and if we ordered 100 of the same most would go to waste. We just used our computer to print on the back of them! Here are our STD magnets: Here is the postcard we included with the STD magnets: Front: Back:
  12. Welcome to this forum! I'm sure you will find it extremely useful. We are using Merrick Cousley as our photographer. We know someone who has used him and his pictures are just what we were looking for, and he is reasonable priced!
  13. So exciting! I'm not less then a year, and I can't beleive how fast time is going!!
  14. Thanks fo this, this is great! Does anyone have the ceremony wording they use?
  15. We aren't having a formal AHR, but maybe just an informal drop by BBQ or something.
  16. I'm glad everything has worked itself out, and I can finally move on to other things!
  17. I'm definately going to contact her and find out about this, because on the package she sent me is the same as this but with no sparkling win celebration after the ceremony! Ill let you know what I find out!
  18. Just do a search on here and some reviews, if there are any for that resort, should come up. I also find it helpful, if you have facebook, to use that as a tool. Many resorts have pages on there that you can find pictures from people and weddings. Also, you can get in contact that way with brides who have gotten married there!
  19. Hi there! I don't have any info on prices. We went to our travel agent and she was able to look up average prices for the past few years to give us a rough estimate of what it would cost. Maybe try going to see one just to get some prices. I see that your from vancouver so I don't think its impossible to get a nice resort and under $1600 for flights and hotels, but it depends when in December you are thinking cause prices rise drastically before christmas. Hope that helps!
