    Its coming so quick!! We sent out STD about a month ago. Sounds like most people we invited arent coming (which is what we wanted haha, but felt obligated to invite them). We are just keeping things really simple. It does feel like there is so much to do, but there is still time. Next up dress shopping!!!!

    I just read through this ENTIRE thread! I strongly am considering a knockoff dress and have received wonderful tips and sites on here! I have tried on many dresses in stores, but can't find just what im looking for. I still have lots of time before the wedding so I think I will go ahead and order a dress and hope it turns out great! Thanks for all the info girls!

    Congrats! Wow you guys are going quickly! I found that once the location was picked things became easier. I would make a list of your top things you are looking for in a resort, and hopefully you can narrow it down that way. Also, look at tons of pictures. Thats what helped us make our decision!     Congrats! Happy planning:) I haven't gotten married yet but I know some relatives who had destination weddings and they said that it really depends on if there is room in a closet to hand the dress, and if not, they had to store it in the overhead bins. Something to consider when choosing a dress!

    Making a decision about the resort was the toughest decision we had to make! It took quite some time to decide. Hope you can come to a decision!

    Maybe try searching for other DJs. We arent using a DJ as there is only going to be about 15 of us. We will just use our Ipod.

    We are also using AMA. We found that everywhere we went was pretty much the exact same prices. We chose AMA as we have used them before for travel and have had no problems.
