  1. I do, between working full time and school part time and planning a wedding! However, it will be so worth it. I'll graduate school in December and then get married in January! It will be a great few months thats for sure!
  2. I think it really depends where in Jamaica you go and what resort, some we looked at were really expensive and knew it was out of our price range! Florida would be a lot simpler. And it would give your guests a chance to experience some other things Florida has to offer which might be nice for them!
  3. I love your fridge countdown! I might have to borrow that idea!
  4. Thanks for all the great book ideas!!
  5. Welcome! I always knew I wanted a DW and didn't even have to convince FI since he was the one who first brought it up when we got engaged! My family was all for it as well which really helped. For us the hardest part was choosing a location. We first considered Maui but found that because there are no all inclusive the price would have been a lot more money for everyone. Then we considered Mexico. We looked at possibly every resort in the Mayan Riviera and just couldn't find one that felt right that were still decently priced for family and friends. Also, to get legally married in Mexico it can take alot of work and money! We then thought of Punta Cana, but once again found the legal requirements to be quite confusing and whatnot! We then decided on Jamaica as getting legally married is pretty simple (no blood tests and document translation) and we fell in love with a resort with a beautiful gazebo on the ocean! Not to mention we got a price that everyone was happy with. We did consult our Travel Agent and she was the one to give us some great resorts to think about and compare, and then we did a lot of research on each resort. I have never been to the Key West but I'm sure its beautiful. I guess you just need to determine if all inclusive is important to you and your potential guests. Also, a nice think about Key West is that people could choose to only come for a few days verse a week at a resort, which might be a nice option for some guests and would help keep costs down. Good luck deciding! And happy planning:)
  6. I'm taking nursing. Had a career change! I first went to school to be a Paramedic and after working for a few years decided to get my nursing degree!
  7. My FI hates pearls so I'm trying to find some nice jewellry but am having a hard time. I have searched etsy but can't seem to find anything I like. Does anyone have any suggestions??
  8. Congrats on buying your dress! You should post a picture!
  9. What about using two binders that are slightly smaller. That way you could still get some nice ones rather then a school binder!
  10. I think they look great. I don't think they look to busy at all and I think once you put them on cardstock it might make them look not so busy!
  11. We just went with the plain totes from cheap totes and plan to just use iron on transfer of a simple logo. It works out to be much cheaper this way then buying personalized bags.
  12. Great ideas! I love the litte flip flop playing cards. If only the shipping on those sites wasn't outrageous!
  13. I would say tell them as soon as possible. We had the same thing happen. One of my friends kept bugging and bugging asking about being a bridesmaid. I finally had to tell her that we were just keeping our bridal party small and therefore just using family. We also told her she could still be involved with things such as dress shopping, and invitations and everything else and she seemed fine with it. I think the best thing to do is tell her early but still let her know you want her to help if she would like to!
  14. Your best bet is probably email them. That would be fun if they had something!!
  15. Try searching at the top and hopefully some reviews will come up.
  16. You just click on a thread and either read it or post a comment. It took awhile of playing around to figure it out! Good luck!
  17. My planning is going slowly. I feel like we have done alot of the bigger things so just a bunch of little things to do. We sent out STDs, we aren't doing invites as everyone who told us they were coming have already booked. I bought my dress awhile ago, bought my wedding band. Now were just trying to get started on OOT bags. I just wrote two finals today and the semester is over for a week before starting clinical so I have a week to really work on things.
