  1. Thank you. I'm really happy with how they turned out. I did make the design myself. I didn't want to spend any money on one and I am not very artistic or creative myself. I found them pretty easy to make though on powerpoint. I googled 'how to make a monogram in powerpoint' and there were many helpful instructions on there. It took me awhile to get it just right. Good luck!
  2. If you are having the steel drum band you probably dont need a CD of music unless there are songs you want that they cant play. I'm sure you can put stuff on the tables even if you arent doing a private dinner, I'm not positive though, as we never brought anything for our tables, just used what the resort provided. For our guest book we used a fingerprint tree that we did after the dinner. Everyone thought it was a great idea and I love the fact that It now hangs in our house and we get to look at it every day. Our guests loved their OOT bags, I would suggest doing them if you can. I also think custom mugs are a great idea. Thats one thing I wish we would have done, but it just wasnt within our budget.
  3. We made a list of requirments of the resort/vacation and from there was able to narrow it down substantially. We then used a travel agent to give us more information on potential locations. This was the most stressful stage of the entire planning. After we picked a resort and date everything was pretty smooth.
  4. I'm sure there are lots of brides that get married during that time. Is your travel agent is advising you against it because of the tour company you have choosen?? If so maybe consider a different tour company.

  10. Stunning Photos!! We are planning on doing a TTD session on our one year anniversary trip!
  11. Have your checked out Spring. I was just in there the other day and they had tons of flat sparkly sandals.
  12. My budget was $1000. In the end my dress was $800 plus alterations which were about $90 so I was slightly under budget.
  13. Thank you for your reply. It sounds like either would be great!
  14. I'm not sure why we didn't pay a vendor fee for our photographer. I was expecting I would have too. They asked who my photographer was, I told them, and they never said anything more about a vendor fee or charged us for it. I hear they have now drastically increased the vendor fee from $75 to $800 or something like that. Our photography package included coverage from before the ceremony, ceremony, photos after, and dinner. We also received all the photos on a disc for our own printing.
  15. Hope I answered all your questions in the private message. Let me know if you need any more info!
  16. Congrats!!! Your photos are beautiful!! I'm glad to hear you had a great time!
  17. When I originally bought my wedding dress it has a really long train. I didn't want a train in the sand, but I also didn't want it to be straight all the way around. I got my seamstress to make a sweeping train in the back so it was slightly longer then the front. Here are a few pics of what I mean.
