    The Grand Wailea in Maui is beautiful and fabulous but very pricey. In general the Wailea area is very beautiful in Maui but we've stayed in Kaanapali before and both the Sheraton and Hyatt are very nice. You might also look into the Westin or Waldorf Astoria. good luck!

    Well I didn't read every post but I must have everyone beat. I dated my fiance 14 years before he proposed and it will be 15 years when we get married this August. We are highschool sweethearts. We met when I was 15.

    Congrats, I got engaged in September after dating my fiance for 14 years so I can relate. I think for the place, choose somewhere with a shorter flight time we didn't really think about that and now I sort of regret it because everyone has to fly like 7 hours to get there.

    Just fyi, I read that Maui Florist works with Costco so if you pick up the arrangements you order through them at Costco, then you get costco pricing. Not sure how it works but it sounds like something worth researching if budget is a concern.
