We got engaged in Times Square last November and have booked a wedding package at the Grande Wailea. So far so good, it is a dream place to get married, I went to a wedding there 3 years ago and it is gorgeous. First thing that they do is assign you to /put you with a wedding planner. My first wedding planner was Ginette and she is wonderful to work with. She got a promotion recently so I was assigned to Donna who is wonderful as well. They are very accomadating as I figure out how this is going to work out. Right now picking all of the vendors and trying to figure out a guestimate of how many friends and family will be in attendance seems daunting but it is also ver exciting to be going through some of these thread and seeing what other brides are doing. Are there any other Grand Wailea Brides out there? I would love to hear your advice! Thanks, looking forwards to all of the information on here in the weeks and months to come!!! Aloha!

Hi! Congratulations! We are getting married August 1st at the Grand Wailea (in West Maui) and are planning on attending a Luau after the ceremony. The Luau is by Capricorn Entertainment but unfortunately they cannot guarantee that the Luau will take place untill a month in advance. Hope all goes well with the planining!

I'm getting married there in August 2011! I haven't noticed anyone else on here get married there though!

I am (desperately) looking for a used Adorae as well. We leave for Maui, Hawaii late July (the wedding is Aug 1st 2011) ad I'm looking for a size 4 or a size 2 Let me know if you can help me out! Also looking at the Sottero 2011 Miri but as its just come out I doubt I'll find a used one before Aug
