I agree!!! They were terrible with handling our wedding. It took them a long time to respond to our questions. We were able to do everything ourselves. They are a rip off.

I am also thinking about having one of my friends take some photos for me. More of the bedroom shots that we can do at a hotel. That way I can have all the shots and have fun with the shoot. I believe editing is important in making the photos look great. I wanted to use a professional photographer for the special shots that I cannot do in a hotel.

I am trying to figure out a way to do a rehearsal dinner at DPC. Do they have a way to seclude an area of one of the restaurants for ~50ppl? How much would that be. I was thinking about Jellyfish, but it was basically the price of of the reception.

Welcome to the forum. I am also relatively new, but most of your questions can be answered in the Dreams Punta Cana Brides site. I know that a lot of people had great things to say about site. The reception depends on how many people you are expecting for your wedding. Bordeaux looks great but if you are having over 40 ppl then it would be too small. They also have a disco at the resort, which is our "after party" once the reception is over. We are planning on getting married in the US before so that we can just have a symbolic ceremony. It's less hassle than to have a translator and it's cheaper. We do not intend to tell our family about getting married before. A couple of brides used a DJ or an Ipod. DJ mannia, who i am booking for my wedding, has RAVE reviews. He is all over this site. Just look around in the Dreams Punta Cana Brides. That is where i found a LOT of my questions answered. You will find it helpful also. I hope this helps.

They seem really classy and appropriately priced. How much do they cost to have pictures printed? They mentioned a la cart, but how much did it cost you? Were they able to give you all of your pics?

I am glad to have found this forum. I decided to take some boudoir photos in May and would like to drop the pounds prior. My FI has been supportive, but sometimes it's good to have someone to talk to in a daily basis. I have been working with a personal trainer which will end soon since my funds ran out. I am going back to school so it is going to be tough sticking to the diet/workout regime. But I am gonna stick with it so I can look great for the photos.

Dreams is great. I am having my wedding there so unfortunately we would like to go to another location for the actual honeymoon. We visited Dreams last May and LOVED it. It was so relaxing and they had lots to do. We are thinking about having our honeymoon at Excellence.

I was thinking about doing the BD shoot for my FI. Our wedding is in June so I am thinking about doing the shoot in May or April. Is there any suggestions on photographers in the Chicagoland area? I have been looking and I keeps seeing photographers who are too overpriced (around $500 just for the shoot). Any novice photographers that could use the experience and the money???
