Just another suggestion for those of you doing your own make-up: I used Instant Smooth Perfecting Touch by Clarins as a base and primer before putting on my foundation. It works wonders and smooths fine lines and pores. And it's very lightweight. I've tested out other primers (such as Smashbox Photofinish) and I think it's one of the best on my skin. Also, I used a finishing mist (Josie Maran Argan Primer Mist) which can also be used as a primer, and my make-up stayed on fresh for the entire night. I didn't have to touch up/refresh at all - except for lipstick of course. I personally favor the mist because it feels lighter than the other primers, especially since I had the Clarins base on already. So if you're looking for some different alternatives, try those two. Word to the wise though: some Sephoras do not carry the Jose Maran Primer Mist. I checked three Sephoras before giving up and asking a friend in another state to get me some and bring to the wedding.
