I have a few friends and family members who have kids. What we did was we picked a kid friendly wedding resort with an adults only sister resort next door. Most of friends without kids are staying at the adults only. This gives people the option of which resort they want to stay at. We are staying at the adults only but we will be going between both resorts as the are connected.

That's what I was thinking, and what's making it more difficult, I was thinking of getting a track suit like this one from etsy: http://www.etsy.com/listing/101580849/velour-bridal-wedding-party-hoodie-pant?ref=usr_faveitems The only thing with that is I don't know if the hood would be in the way while getting my hair done. And I'd most likely still have to have a tank top underneath it that would have to pull over my head. It would be much easier if I was getting my hair and make up done in my room...lol.

I was wondering if anyone has decided on or bought a getting ready outfit yet. My fiancé bought me the Bride robe from Victorias Secret but I'm not sure what to wear getting my hair and make up done in the salon.

I put a lot of thought into it and have decided not to have one. My bridesmaids and guests are already spending some much i don't want them to have to spend more. We already own a house and have a child so I didn't really feel like we needed it. That being said I definitely don't think that there is anything wrong with having one at all. It just wasn't right for us.

Hi ladies, So I did something a little crazy. I bought a new wedding dress! I loved the Priscilla dress I originally bought, but I think I bought it too far out and had too much time to look at other dresses. I ended up posting my Prscilla dress on here to try to find a new home. Here is a picture of my new dress (the picture isn't great but you'll get the idea). Its Wtoo style Natalia. Hi Ladies, I am selling a Priscilla of Boston Jewel Collection gown. Style number JL109. I still absolutely love this dress but I bought it so far out from my wedding that I ended up falling in love with another dress. It was a very difficult decision to sell this dress. The bead work on this dress is like nothing I've seen before. The only thing making this slightly easier for me is the hope that it will go to a good home and be someone else's dream dress. The dress is a sample dress and a size 8. In other wedding dresses I've tried on I've mostly worn a size 4. As you can see this dress is definately big on me. No alteration have been made. The back is a zipper closure. It's difficult to see in the pictures but the buttons on the back continue all the way down the back of the dress. Since I bought it the dress has been in a bag in a temperature controlled storage facility. If you have any questions or want additional photos don't hesitate to message me. Congrats to both of you and welcome. My fiancé and I did a site visit that we split between both resorts, so if you are looking for pictures of anything in particular let me know. I obviously don't have pictures of everything since we mainly concentrated on where we are doing our ceremony and reception (chapel and villas terrace) but we have some general pictures as well.

So I am currently debating about hair and make up and want to see what you ladies think. I had a make up trial while in Cancun in May. Overall she did a great job. She also has someone she can bring with her who is a hairstylist. The issue is that I'm concerned I will have to pay the $350 outside vendor fee. She states that we would just have to pay the day pass for each of them (not that that's cheap either) but I'm not so sure. I just don't know if I'm willing to risk having to pay an extra $350 on top of their fee especially since hair and makeup is included in my package. I'm so confused!

I was lucky enough to be able to do a site visit. We met with a wedding planner and were able to do a food tasting. Some of the food was what we would've picked anyways, but some we were pleasantly surprised with. I had been really concerned about the entrance to the Chapel at the Gran Caribe where we are getting married, so I was very relieved to be able to go down and see it in person. If you can swing it I think it's definitely worth it but if not there is great information on this site which is so helpful!

So far here is what I have done: book our ceremony and reception, bought my dress, sent out save the dates, set up a group block with a travel agent (17 people booked so far), put the deposit down on the rooms for our 2 weeks, and picked and asked our bridal party. I think that's it. Im looking for more wedding stuff to do but I'm not really sure what. I am going to wait until we are about 7 months out and ask my bridesmaids for a definte answer so we can start picking out dresses.

I know, it has been quiet. I feel like I want to do stuff but I really don't know what to do! Lol. What is everyone else doing right aout now?

Hey ladies, How is everyone's planning going so far. People are starting to put down deposits which is exciting! Airfare (except jet blue) is out for us now too!

So we finally got our group block up and running this Monday! We already had 6 people book! I finally feel like we are somewhat able to do something. We want to fly Jet Blue and they only come out 9 months in advance so we still have a litle time before we can book airfare. At least I feel like we are able to really start getting our guests into it now!

Hi Ladies, I am getting married on May 10, 2013 in the Chapel at the Gran Caribe Real in Cancun. I actually just returned from a vacation to Cancun which got me even more excited! So far we have booked our date, purchased out Save the Dates (are hoping to send them out his weekend), bought my dress, did a site visit/menu tasting, booked our photographer (Ivan Luckie) and enlisted a travel agent. We also started our wedding website which I will list below. We originally were booking for Sat May 11th, but decided to go with Fri the 10th to give people the option to leave on Saturday or Sunday. That being said my whole family is planning on staying mid week through midweek, but we have some frends who could only do a long weekend.
