I've been debating between the Henkaa or Victoria secret dresses for my bridesmaids. Victoria secret is cheaper so if they are good I would rather get them. But for anyone who ordered them did you get the regular length or short. In the pictures the short looks really short but the regular length looks like it goes to the calf whereas I would like it go be more knee length.

They absoloutely do enforce this. You need to get a notarized letter from a lawyer. It makes sense they want to ensure children aren't being kidnapped.

I think your best best is to go to the knockoff dresses thread. There is a ton of information there and different people have used many different replica companies. You can read reviews, see pictures and figure out which you think would be best.

I'm in the exact same boat as you Ms. Clarke. Getting married March 30 2012 at Dreams Palm Beach and quotes so far have been around 2000. I don't want my guest to spend that much so I keep freaking out and thinking about changing resorts but its so hard when you don't know. I don't want to wait too long to change resorts and end up not getting a good wedding date/time but I don't want to give Dreams Palm Beach and then the prices go down! So frustrating. I hate the waiting game!!

I'm doing the whole AHR thing. I don't think its tacky and neither do any of my guests. They are all excited. Those that are coming to the DW are excited for another party and those that can't come are happy they can still celebrate with us. I just say don't listen to people who say stuff like that. They are probably jealous you get to wear your dress twice! ha ha

I don't think this is unethical. I have been working with a TA but she also has given me no quotes so far for my March 2012 wedding so we went ahead and have been getting quotes from multiple different TA's. I think just like every other vendor you have the right to stop around and get the best deal. If you haven't booked anything through your TA they haven't done much work for you yet so you can still shop around.

Thanks so much for all the comments ladies. I really don't think I can make a decision until I go and try them all on again. I just wish they were at the same store. It makes it so hard when you can't see a dress one right after another! I'll let you know what I decide...

I think you need to think about what kind of reception you want to have. You can go to the restaraunt but its not private and you can't have dancing. However, you don't have to pay extra. If you want an outdoor reception you can either do beach or poolside. Beach is obviously beautiful but you do have to put up with wind and loud noises from waves crashing. Poolside is still outside with less wind and noise but not as private. Then the ballrooms you get private reception that is indoors. Don't have to worry about the weather. So ultimately you just need to decide whats important to you and which type of reception you would like best. Good luck!

Unfortunately, no! I change my mind everyday whether this is the dress or not. I am waiting a little while and then going to try on my top couple dresses again. My wedding isn't till March so I still have a bit of time. I will definitely post once I decide.

Hello ladies! I am going crazy choosing a dress. I pretty much change my mind every single day. I love three dresses for all different reasons. So please tell me which you think is best for me! Dress #1-Mikaella I love this dress because its simple and beautiful. I love the shape of it. Dress #2-Essence of Australia I love this dress because I love the shape of it. And LOVE the lace cut out at the bottom. It was exactly what I was looking for. Note: I would add a sweetheart neckline Dress #3 - White on White This dress is nothing like what I was looking for but put it on and felt amazing. I just feel this dress is so beautiful and has that wow factor. Note I would remove the flowers on the bust and make this into a sweetheart neckline. So which do you think I should choose???

Thanks for your opinions. Getting the dress there there is a concern for me. I do have a hoop on in this pic so the dress isn't that big. But I would pay to get it steamed no matter what the cost cuz the dress is so beautiful!

So I went dress shopping yesterday looking for a mermaid style simple dress and instead I fell in love with this amazing dress. Be honest do you think its too over the top for a DW or should I just go with whatever I want. Just as an aside its actually ALOT less hot than mermaid styles I tried on because you its airy underneath rather than your legs being stuck together.

My FI doesn't like cake either. Both our favorite dessert is nanaimo bars so we are having a 3 tired nanaimo bar "cake" made. You can pretty much get anything made nowdays and its becoming much more popular. My baker showed me a cinnamon bun cake that was really cool too.

Hello ladies, I am planning my wedding at Dreams Palm Beach for March 30 2012. Just requested my date today! Anyways I am wondering for those who are having a 2012 wedding when are your guests booking? Or for those whose wedding is coming up in 2011 when did your guests book? My TA told me that flight schedules aren't available until September 2011 or possibly as late as December 2011. That seems crazy to me that we wouldn't be able to book until December 2011, thats only 3 months till the wedding. So if you could tell me your experience or what you did I would be so grateful!!
