Questions regarding the ceremony. Do the parents seat themselves? Where does the groom/groomsmen stand? ( do they stand there as guests come to sit?) do they walk down the isle? Once the flower girl/jr. bridesmaid has walked down, do they sit down or stand up front? Should you play music as the guests are arriving? if you do, how will they know when its starting?

Hey! No worries...your right, it was supposed to happen this way, the pics will be awesome!!!!! Sucks work is stressing you out...and that you have to go away, your right, deep breaths...and help...don't forget to ask for it! Are you giving the DJ a list of songs above and beyond the "first dance" etc. ? I am working on (can't believe some of these so late in the game)... -nailing down a seamstress to do alterations (yes, with 3.5 weeks to go) freaking over this -jr. bridesmaids dress (may have found it this weekend) -shoes for bridesmaid (why does T.O. have NO flip flops ANYWHERE!!!!?????) don't they know people still want to vacation and have their flowergirls wear flip flops at their destination wedding? -paddle fans for ceremony -welcome booklets -lights in paper lanterns -WAITING PATIENTLY for grooms/groomsmen suits to come in! (freaking on this too) -downloading ceremony music -making appts. for hair/teeth etc. -and a ton more little things (flower girl flower for dress/wrapping flip flops with ribbon etc. etc.) I FINALLY just bit the bullet and ordered dye-able shoes from David's in green....they are really nice, I hope they turn out (and that it doesn't rain)..lol I have flip flops as back up

CONGRATS!!!! I know, feels so great! Post a pic? I have 5 guests that are not flying with our group, one from Germany, other friends staying for a shorter amount of time. The hotel has no problems including these people for any of your private events as you pay extra yourself anyway. When it comes to the courtesy package you mentioned, I would ask, not sure about this part.

hey there....(just under the flower pic) she mentioned Mikiye on Etsy (etsy.com) I have a question...if ordering from Etsy, how do you know the "white" will match your dress?! My dress is described by the store as "off white" and that means so many different colors to different people. I am afraid to order and it not match!

Hey!! I have 50 including us....so we are going to do a head table, and have 5 tables of 8. What are we going to do?? LOL Wait...what about the DJ? are you supposed to feed him too? I am having a freak out moment...I had a lot of stuff that I was working on at work, on my computer, and supplies to get the projects done, and this damn strike is still going strong!!! (it is totally sucking, between getting paid half our income each, and hostile students, I am at my wits end). My guests keep texting/emailing with "5 more weeks....can you belive it?" and I started to freak, because no, I can't believe it, I still like it better when I say its still over a month away, sounds longer.

Ladies: Are you including your photographer for dinner numbers (I am going to), but not sure if they are to be seated with the guests for this? I have the EXACT number with 8 at each table, do I ask for a small table for them to eat at?? Also for tipping, anyone care to share (or you can PM me) how much and to whom you tipped while down there? Mel

sweet! they look great, I can imagine they are time consuming, but a nice touch that you did them yourself! I just bought a grommet setter to do some tags for our welcome bags and the pashminas....haven't tried to use it yet, hope its easy enough. Are you working on any other DIY projects?

Thank you, I use to do that all the time, and stopped for whatever reason...I am going to start doing it again. I have protein in my fruit shake I have for breakfast every morning, wonder if I should switch it up and have it after workout instead (right now am having 1/2 before and the other 1/2 after..I guess technically I am having protein after my workouts...hahha..sorry, its late for me!) Keep me updated on how your doing...and NO WORRIES...I am sure you look awesome, and you are going to rock that photoshoot!!!! You just need to get a few pics taken and get more comfortable....let us know how it goes....you can do it! You go girl...yes, please...share! My photographer canceled on me, and I haven't been able to find another that does good work and for a decent price. Reverse Hypers (on the ball....lie on your stomach, and lift your legs up, at the same time)....totally works your glutes! Step ups or Jump ups......two feet...jump up (onto a platform)..some gyms have boxes you can do jump ups on. Way to go on the weight loss!!!!

Absolutely!!!! That is totally doable...just remember if you hit a wall, up your intencity! You should be TOTALLY pumped about the 50lbs...congrats, that is unreal!!! I am down 25 since January, and honestly, really wanted to be down 20 more before my big day, but with less than 2 months to go, its looking like it won't happen. I have fought and fought, but my body is just NOT cooperating! I honestly can't cut anymore food out, and the nutritionist/naturopath are just as confused as I am.... I am still keeping up with my workouts, but I recently hurt my back and neck again, and do not have even close to full range of motion...erghhhh! You can do this no prob Just stick to your plan, and keep your eye on the prize.....

I double checked our budget etc. and I forgot that I had put the deposit down for 40 people to hold...so thats $6000!!! Yipee!!!! You Rock! PS>..picked up my dress yesterday! It needs some altering, but nothing major so far! The lining is a bit tight and bunching, but I ordered it a size smaller on purpose, as I have dropped 10 lbs already since I ordered it. I also found earings yesterday...I love the danforth! Ladies: I am kinda freaking....Chris and I both work at a college in the Athletics dept. and the support staff are on STRIKE!!! With both of us on a reduced income, I am hoping it ends sooner rather than later..or we are going to have to start axing a few of our private events we planned. (That and I have only done 2 days on the picket line, and I am ready to lose it!!!) PS>....whoever said the shoes were the worst to find...I SO know what you mean! Dress...easy, shoes...not so much!!! Always trying to end on a positive: I am finished my DIY chapstick labels, and have them all assembled, and am now working on the paddle fans.

Two things. 1. We are going to have someone (not sure if photographer, or wedding party) take pics of people holding up a white board with a written message to us, then we will have the pics printed at home and put in a guest book. Perhaps you can do the same on the beach for dinner. 2. We are booking the same sunset cruise as our thank you for our guests, are you going through lomas travel? I am wondering if they have sent you a pic of the catamaran they will be using for your reception? (or the name?). I am going back and forth with them right now over the catamaran, it looks a little small for us. Happy planning!
