Hey there.... I ordered linen suits from Studio Suits..*see studio suits thread on this site*....they were super cheap, custom made and I think they look great! If you search the word video in this thread, there are a few in the last couple months that brides posted (video) Congrats!!!

Jessie....I was going to ask...how many extra bags did you have to pack?? I have 2 extra (one the kids are taking, and the other we are paying $40 for)

OMG.....can't believe were next!!!!!! The week sounds awesome, you sound ready girl!!! GO GET EM! I arrive on Thursday...can't wait! Just finished my last day of work today, shopping for some dresses tomorrow....a day at the spa Wednesday and flight early Thursday!!!! There are going to be 44 of us on the same flight!!! We are going to stay at a hotel the night before so we don't have to drive the hour to the hotel so early in the morning!! There are so many of my guests staying at the hotel that I am sure we will have a pre-wedding flight party.... No doubt we will see each other down there....can't wait to see you around the resort at your after party! Mel

Just an update....we did the measurements ourselves, and I love the suits, but they were quite big on all 4 guys (really really big). We ordered the standard "comfort fit"....but all 4 guys have to have the seat/knee area taken in and the vest around the waist...as well as being hemmed! With that being said, I am VERY happy that it wasn't worse than some extra hemming here/there.

Thank you! I am only giving 1 hour and 15 min. for our photos ... we will have some getting ready...and will try the group thing after the ceremony! How long did you allot for pics? Thank you...it was hard to enjoy, we went straight back to work (I am still here)..lol! BUT...it was super simple and cute...they kept is super low key(how we wanted). Thanks Miriam!!! My legal wedding is on Friday...totally going in my work clothes, not making a big deal, not even exchanging rings.....want Mexico to feel like the real deal!

THank you for posting.....I am less than 2 weeks now and have Ivan Luckie doing our wedding too! What did you tell Ivan exactly about the style of pics you wanted? Did you meet up with him prior to the big day? I really like your pics, you looked beautiful!

I waited until I knew what I wanted for sure (private party vs. spoons dinner, dj vs. ipod etc.) and then just added it all up and checked it against the packages, it just seemed that the free package worked best for having a private reception. Just add it all up and see what makes sense.

Can't wait.....2 weeks today and we will be dancing to your music!

Got ours! Chris' looks great...needs to be taken in (pants) but thats because he has cut weight One of the 3 groomsmen has tried it on....so far another pants hem, nothing serious! They are really nice quality....good purchase! Mel (I went with light natural linen, they are a very light beige, I really like the color)

Thats great!!! You have PLENTY of time!!!! I am glad that your friends/family started to pay you the compliments you deserve, I know how that feels when they don't say nice things...."your too thin" "you look sick".......I am not down as low as when they normally start saying that to me (usually around 145 lbs) and trust me, I don't look sick, just very healthy! I'm only 5'4 damn it! I am def. before you, hahhahaha...I leave in 13 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YIKES! My goal was to be down 5 more pounds then what I am right now. I think I can do it, I am committed and its doable! My dress is in the 1st alterations stage....I go back on Tuesday! It looks SO much better then when I first tried it on, and my arms/back are so much more toned and look great! I am down 35 pounds since January and fell amazing! BRING IT ON BATHING SUITS/WEDDING PICS!!! I'M READY!!!!!

Yes, just told them I wasn't too happy that some were broken beyond repair and they asked if I wanted to be reimbursed for them or re-send new ones.... They do! I am in Toronto

THANKS! How close are you to your goal and how much longer do you have? I know what you mean....stupid junk food...why do we have to crave it?! Good job on keeping up with the workouts!!!!!

UPDATE: All of my printable projects are complete! (ok...I have a to get Ribbon to finish a few, and for the flower girl bucket)....but really, I am no longer printing things. YEAH! My dress is being altered this evening! The suits came in from studio suits and I really like them...Chris has lost some weight so his pants are too big, but just a few alterations for him too! I have 2 full suitcases of "wedding stuff" (the maracas/pashminas killed me....)...so I am having to pay $20 for a friend to take one, and another family member is taking the other. I still have to take pics of Chris and I to put in our sand ceremony picture frame (I know, who does "engagement pics" 2.5 weeks before the wedding???) I am definitely all ready to go, but am feeling a sense of calm (even after I had to add a guest which messed up my numbers etc.)... I took pics of all my stuff, so will post it up here soon

Ladies that have been to Azul S. recently... My travel agent said some of the resorts in Mexico are not accepting American Dollars anymore!? I don't know how to find out if Azul is one of them, as I was planning to bring down American with me! (they said the will accept CC but I had a bad experience with that in the Dominican).... They will accept Pesos....recently traveled there ladies...could you use your American Dollars on the resort? Melissa

Received mine....they are a little beat up (paint chipping, quite a few broken)....they are going to reimburse the 4 broken beyond repair...I hot glued 5-6 to fix them, they don't look great, but look authentic! The pink and orange had 2 different paintings on them (would have preferred all the same). I am sure the guests will love them all the same.

Today did a weigh in, another 4....so 34 pounds!! I think the stress of the final weeks are helping, definitely! I got a good workout in this morning, so will go again tomorrow! How long left for you? Good Job! HOW EXCITING!!!! so close!! I know what you mean, I am working around the clock on all my DIY projects...holy time consuming! I am having some wine tonight, I need it!!!!!! Keep us posted on how you do....can't wait to see pics!!!!

Its very pretty...I would say go with the ivory.... I am still working on mine (only 3 weeks until wedding)lol I am between a "buttery ivory" and a champagne ivory.....my dress is described by designer as off white, and it definitely has a yellowish tinge to it...wouldn't champagne be brownish? or is it yellowish? erghhhhhhh

Well ladies, I have 3 weeks to go, and finding time to hit the gym is getting harder and harder as I am cramming down on wedding projects! I am currently down 30lbs and hope for a bit more! Feeling good.....in my dress anyway

I sure hope so! They said they will ship by end of this week for sure....that gives me 3 weeks...not much time, but doable! I know what you mean about the shoes....I think that is what we have too....hopefully the shoes look good with the suits
