Hey Ally, I have 3 months to go too.... I am not going to have anything for a processional throw, although when I was going to, it was going to be rose petals. I am doing the maracas, and if you search "maracas" on this site, you will find a ton of people showing pics/reviews of all sorts of maracas. I am in Canada, but am probably going to order mine from the states, its a little more expensive for me, but we Canadian girls don't have as many choices, or none that I have come across anyway. http://www.amols.com/catalog/product/MX700 Here is a link to the site that most of the girls on here ordered from. They seem to have the best range of colors and all the brides seemed pretty happy with the way they turned out! I am doing welcome bags too, I just made my own DIY bookmarks the other day, they are pretty cute if I do say so myself. I am also doing a DIY "wedding survival kit" with first aid stuff and pepto etc. (the DIY is that I got little boxes from the dollarstore and with the template of someone on here, made my own labels). I am also putting a custom lip balm, key holder (I just ordered the badges to make the key holders the other day...they are awesome, they zip lock so your guests won't lose their money if they chose to keep some tip money in it!!), hand sanitizer, kleenex, I haven't decided yet, but might do custom mugs....am shopping around right now. I have also decided that I am just using gift bags for this...I really don't think that my guests would use a cloth or beach style bag, so I am skipping that part. I have decided that instead of paying the hotel to deliver them ($4 per person) I am going to hand them out at Check-In as well. I have also decided to forgo the champagne flutes and serving set. I too, am worried about the amount of stuff coming down with us!!! I haven't fully decided on menu....I am now looking at the petit gourmet as so many brides chose it and loved it. Do you just pick one item out of each? do your guests get to choose? Happy Planning!

WOW...congrats!!!! I am on a weight loss journey myself, but only have 3 more months to go!! I decided to do the boudoir anyway, and I am going to rock it no matter what weight I am at! I already feel better (down 22 since Jan.)....I would like another 30, but I am feeling better, and confidant enough to get these pics done! Hope you go for it....you've definitely earned it!!!!!

I'm booked!! With Erin too, can't wait (ok, yes I can....but I am excited for it to be done and see the pics/and give Chris the book on our wedding day. I am planning on having my MOH deliver it while the guys are getting ready!!!!

MURMEL!!!! I got Erin Blackwood on the phone today, we are going to set up a boudoir shoot for 3-4 weeks from now!! I am pretty sure at dinner you said that you just got the proofs and did it through snap fish? If I plan this root, how much time should I give to put it together/order? So pumped I got her!!!!!

Awesome! I have airmiles, so could get it for $90 instead of $350!!! One question though, how did it pack? hard to tell how big it is from the pic. and were you worried with it on the beach/on the sand?

Do any thin/fine haired brides that used clip ins have pics to share? I want my hair in a low loose chignon, so think clip ins would be fine for that??? - not that I have ever tried any extensions before, but HATE HATE HATE my thin/fine frizzy hair, and absolutely need to bring some strands into the equasion for my big day!!!!!

Another one.....for those that had the DJ....did you also have someone as your MC? I know the DJ said they will announce for you (first dance etc.)....so do you really need an MC???

Wonderful Postcards.....can you post the template you worked in on word? I find it so much easier to work within someone elses' template. The one you shared is a PDF, so unworkable.....
