Flower Girl and Ring Bearer Outfits DONE! Unless I find something else that I love :-) Not sure if the flower girl dress is too fancy compared to the ring bearer outfit... Dress from JC Penny's $40 for flower girl Beige and white linen shirt from the Gap $25 for ring bearer. Got this shell and basket set from Blue Roof on Etsy. They are so cute! We also just bought the groomsmen pants at Banana Republic - tan linen pants on sale for $30 right now!!!

Okay.. I've been pretty good and go-with-the-flow for most of the wedding planning. But flowers are really hanging me up. Here's the Bridesmaid dress: And here's what I think (for now) will look good with this somewhat tricky shade of purple: What do you guys think? I def want to have a purple bouquet... but should the BMs have white maybe? Or do you like this one here? Meanwhile my WC at Dreams keeps sending me photos of flowers that are NOTHING like what I want. It seems roses are the only go-to in Mexico and they don't really have any dark, deep purple flowers. Please help and thank you thank you!

How big is your wedding now JMikla? I've thought about changing from Dreams as well and Las Caletas seems amazing!!! Going to another location with 50 people seems like a logistical pain though... do they arrange transportation for all your guests? Isn't it much more expensive? I'm jealous!!!!!

Hello fellow Nov 2011 brides! Since we're all around the same time I'm wondering when you guys are sending out invitations (if you haven't already)?? We sent STDs in January (10 months out) and I'm about to send the invites (6 months out) with an RSVP date of August 1st (3.5 months out) - so that we can release our room block if needed. Am I sending the invites to early???

Esman also quoted me $300 for flowers... I wanted orchids and mini calla lillies. Bummer!!! What other dark purple flowers are out there... but obviously WAY cheaper???

SWEET JESUS. Come on Dreams!!! My wedding is in 6 months and I have not received an email. Fingers crossed everything gets sorted out, especially for the brides with weddings coming up soon!!!

It's definitely more expensive to do a legal ceremony in Mexico, but I would find out if that's the blood test, paperwork and everything (which is usually about $400 or $500 I think).. or if that's just a "Dreams Fee". We'll be getting married here in Chicago maybe a week before our DW on the hush. Hoping to do the least amount of real vows so we can save it for Mexico!
