Dress is beautiful, fits great and looks great on you, skip the belt, its perfect for a DW without one, maybe add the belt if you are going to have AHR, I just think bling on dresses isn't beachy but that is strictly an opinion, congrats! -

Wow, our wedding dates are close! Plans are going good so far, just got engaged on halloween so its been a whirlwind, waiting for my dress to come in so I can try it on and hopefully still love it! What about your plans? Are you having a lot of people join you or a small group?

ok, so this post is making me nervous, I try to avoid tripadvisor because frankly most people only take time to post negative things but, I feel responsible that my guests will be styaing at the resort I picked, so if it isn't up to par I will be dissapointed. On the same note I stayed at the Riu Palace in Aruba last January, before we went I was looking on trip advisor and they had awful reviews, when we got there the resort was amazing! It actually was the reason we picked the ROR, hope it doesnt dissapoint

Here is my AHR dress, although we really arent having a "reception" it will be more like a party, we are having it at a County Park, but will have the standard alcohol, food, DJ, Cake, along with sports (that I wont be particpating in wiht my dress...I willl be more dressed up then everyone else but, I'm the bride, right.

Ochosriosbride, I'm getting married at ROR in May, can you elaborate on any mishaps in service you had thta would help us plan ahead or what to watch out for, because now I'm getting nervous that I have all these people going to a resort I picked, and to have it unsatisfactory makes me extremely uneasy.

We were not there for a wedding just vacation however we saw three different ones while we were there. We actually choose to get married at the Riu Ochos Rios because we loved our visit to the Riu Palace so much

MellyD, I spent a week at Riu Palace in Aruba last January...Actually exactly one year....would highly recomend!

Just wanted to let you girls know Michaels Crafts has their flowers half off just bought all these orchids today, they are not silk or cloth, I'm guessing real touch or something like it?? not the best pic sorry took on my phone, they are really life-like, good quality! Happy Shopping!
