thats my concern too, the weather, my bridal shower will be in MArch and in Pittsburgh, it can either be nice spring weather or snow, we never know, I figured I would just have two different pairs of shoes, strappier ones if its warm and something else if its colder

not 100% about this one, buit i thought it might be cute to wear something beachy/tropical since we are getting married in jamaica, I found this dres and figured I could throw on a cute cardigan

I don't think it looks silly at all, it will distinguish them, especially in pics as memebers of the bridal party and not just guests of the wedding

Just was trying to find something for my bridal shower and figured I would see what you girls have come up with!

I think what you need to ask yourselves is,how does your "dream wedding" look, is it you and your FI saying your vows on/near the beach, the main focal point or is it you and you FI surrounded bt family saying your vows. At one point or another all of us on here have stopped and thought about this part of DW, for me personally our dream wedding was all about us, as self absorbed as that may seem, we decided we were doing this for us and are so excited to start our lives how we want, not how we are expected to by having the same reception all of our friends/family have had in the same 3 locations around the city....our family and friends that are making the trip are like an extra bonus. As far as violence I agree with vettiebean 100%

you should take it in, they should just send it out to tighten the prongs around the stone, and if you take your ring in to be cleaned they should inspect the diamonds to see if any are loose then too ( at least this what they do where FI got my ring at Helzberg, I take it in like o nce a month to be clen and they check the diamonds under microscope with little tools) good luck!

I will be walking alone down the aisle as well, I considered my styepfather my dad, he was killed six years ago, my biological father I never considered, although I am very close with my grandparents and rest of his said of family, I am not close with him, neither of my brothers will be able to make it or I wouldve had one of them walk me down the aisle, and personally in my own opinion, I don't like when mothers walk their daughters down the aisle (all though I am extremely close with my mom) I want my mom to be able to watch me walk down the aisle and have that memory. In any case you could start the discussion with, since we arent having a tradtional wedding, we are doing somethings a little untraditionally...etc
