    I think the Waves of Love theme is their new header picture, but no other new pictures. You can only find the package info by playing around with the website right now. There was a couple pictures of the paper lanterns this morning, but they're not there now.

    There are some good ideas in this thread! My friend bought her fiance cuff links last year and told him two weeks before the wedding he needed to buy a french cuff dress shirt. Do you know how hard it was to find a white french cuff dress shirt in August...pretty much impossible...lol!

    I see that I'm not the only one! My fiancee's cousin will be turning 13th the day after our wedding and three days later I'll be turning the big 3-0.

    The lighter coloured suits should start coming out really soon in the stores. My friend waited too late last year for his August DR wedding and the only place he could actually find one that fit was Harry Rosen and it was really expensive.

    I think they are in the process of updating the Palladium wedding website. I was looking around on it this morning and they had a new Karen Bussen package called Pure Paradise posted. They also had a tab called Karen Bussen extras and it had options for paper lanterns in blue, white, fuchsia and mango. They're gone now though.

    It wasn't always this way in Ontario. The provincial government only amended the Marriage Act in 2004 to give municipal clerks the authority to solemnize civil marriages in Ontario. Prior to that it was only judges and justice of the peaces who could perform civil marriages. Not all municipalities in Ontario perform the service, as I'm a Deputy Clerk at a municipality that does not issue marriage license nor solemnize civil marriages.

    I keep stalking the palladium wedding website to see if the new packages have been posted. Natalie mentioned they will have colour options so I'm dying to see what they will include. I want to finalize my colours

    I'm getting married there at the end of November. So far Natalie has been great to work with and is quick to answer my emails. I even get a response sometimes within hours.

    We have one cousin coming who is 12 (my fiance only has two cousins so we couldn't not invite him). We had looked into the Sandals, but it wouldn't work either. The Beaches resorts looked nice but I didn't want Seasame Street Characters running around either...lol! And at twelve he was a little too old for that

    I ended up choosing another resort where the prices were closer to what we wanted to keep it at. However, price was not my only factor as I was disappointed that Nicole at the Suites told me that I could not have a private dinner at the Steakhouse as I wouldn't have enough guests Having a private dinner was important to me and I really wanted an open air restaurant for the ambiance.

    No, just regular double room. The quote was from Transat Vacations flying out of Toronto. We are looking at other options right now, because while we can afford that I'm not sure some of our guests can.

    I just got a group quote for the Suites for the last week in November at $2134 per person. Ouch.
