Hi, My bridesmaid dresses have a black sash, so I am thinking black shirts for the groomsmen now. Or, maybe the groom can wear a linen jacket with a white shirt and the grooms men can wear white shirts as well. Shirts tucked in or out? If groom is wearing a jacket, then obviously tucked in. My two sons are in it as well, and I have short sleeved white shirts for them (ages 4 and 10 months), so I thought to match their dad, he would wear a short sleeve shirt as well, but he doesn't want to. So do you think it would still look okay if the kids wore short sleeve and the adult men wore long sleeve? Yes, I'm so indecisive! I think since we don't want to do suits or ties, we will have groom and our two boys (ages 4 and 10 months) wear white button shirts and khaki pants and the 2 groomsmen will wear dark grey (almost metallic) shirts? What do you think? Or is that too dark for a beach? Im so stumped, I'm considering changing my bridesmaid colour. Well, not quite!

I am having a lot of difficulty trying to come up with what the groom and groomsmen will be wearing. My BM dresses are purple (bright deep purple) and originally I thought I would have the groom wear a white button shirt with khaki pants, and the GM wear purple shirts (matching the type of G shirt with the same purple colour as the BM) and khaki pants. No ties as we wanted fairly casual. Then I saw some pics (and also some protests from the groomsmen about wearing a purple shirt) and I didn't likethe look. I thought maybe a lighter purple. Then I thought a lighter purple with a deep purple tie, even though I originally didn't want ties. Then I thought the groom could wear the purple and the GM wear white! I just want something to go together with everything. I thought maybe the groom and groomsmen (2) could wear the same thing, but I really wanted the groom to stand out and be a little different. I don't know!! I'm feeling stressed and not sure what way to go!! What can I do? My sister suggested black shirts for the GM, but I think that would be too dark. What about they all wear khaki pants and white shirt for groom and grey shirts for the GM (or is that too drab)? For thinking having a beach wedding was the simple way to go, I was wrong! Please help with my lack of colour talent!

I am getting married end of March and will have 20 purple sashes to sell to you. They are a dark, rich purple, not light. I live in Ontario.

I think I might buy my 2 bridesmaids a spa outing before we go and then maybe a necklace or the lounge chair cover. My sister is one of the bridesmaids and she is so picky; I know she would like the spa day, but i don't know if she would like the jewelry I would pick out, so maybe a lounge chair cover instead sicne it goes with the beach theme. How much in total are you spending on each bridesmaid?

Thanks ladies! I actually went ahead and ordered them orange with purple writing last night, so I am soooo glad you all have agreed with me! Puts my mind at ease that I made a good choice! My sister, who is a bridesmaid, had said orange with white, but I decided to keep with my purple colour scheme even though she said no! It's my day, right! Thanks again!

So I have finally decided on my mugs - TM801, but they don't have my theme colour which is purple. So I decided to go with orange and have dark purple writing. Or should I do orange with white writing? What do you think will look better? thanks for your help!

Thanks for the tip. I am normally anal - type A about everything being exactly the same, etc., but since I only have 2 mths til my wedding, I don't mind so much about the size of the fans/if they vary. At first, I did, but it doesn't really matter that much to me now. It is just for decoration on the seats and if ppl use them, that's a bonus! I am just trying to budget since I have spent more than what we allowed!

I might use discount mugs, too, but I am debating between st58 in purple or tm801. Purple is my bridesmaid and flowers and sashes colour.I really like tm801 but they don't have my colour purple, so that's why I thought of st58. I also thought to buy tm801 in white with purple writing, but they don't have white anymore. Do you think it would look odd to order another colour? Of course, my fiance says order whatever colour, it doesn't make a difference. But I am anal with these sort of things - type A - and wanted everything in purple, but I like the ones that don't come in purple! What would you guys do? It is consuming my time like crazy - I am going insane trying to make a decision! Help me!
