I am getting married in the synagogue but you don't have to. Atleast if you do, your money goes further. They include the chuppah and you don't have to pay for chairs etc. I did speak to Diane a lot. She is wonderful. We are still going to have her take part in the ceremony. The Wyndham terrace is beautiful. My WC is handlilng the transportation, but they do have closed vans with AC, not just the open air ones. I heard Herve is beautiful with great food.

Just curious, Willow188, did you find a rabbi or are you using Diane? I am having my ceremony at the St. Thomas Synagogue with the rabbi there. Then the reception at Villa Botanica.

Thanks guys. I did go see VB when I was there and it is beautiful. My wedding will be at night so unfortunately we won't be able to take advantage of the grounds as much. But I do love the open air room for the reception and dancing. I am also using DJ Eric Snow. I just pretty much go on Janelle's recommendations and I know he does a ton of weddings. I am super excited. Ashley, Elisha Orin and EJ all do great work. It is so hard deciding. I decided not to check out Blue Glass because I hear they have a number of different photographers. EJ seems pretty low key. It is super exciting. What is everybody doing for their honeymoons? Staying on St. Thomas or going to a nearby island or somewhere else?

I was also disappointed that the Marriott will be closed for my May 2011 wedding. I checked out the majority of the hotels and we are staying at the Emerald Beach. I thought they had the nicest rooms besides the Marriott and the Ritz of course. The reception will be at Villa Botanica and I am using Janelle from Island Bliss Weddings. We are having the rehearsal dinner at the hotel, they have a West Indian BBQ with music and we have the beach deck reserved. It should be pretty casual. Has anybody heard anything about the food there? IIs anybody using Paradise Pictures for their photography?

I am also having my reception at Villa Botanica May 2011? What photographer are you using? Where are your guests staying?
