  1. Just go to dhgate.com after you have a look around at some of the dresses you will need to pick your dressmaker, babyonline has good reviews, you can do a search on the website and it will take you to babyonline's store.
  2. If you have a La Senza outlet near you check it out!! Last time I was there they had a bunch of different lotions and body washes in scents like coconut, mango, etc. They were really cheap, I think about $2 each and full size.
  3. I have ordered a dress from DHGate, babyonline. It should be here within the month so I'll let you know how it turned out. The dress I have ordered would have cost over $2000 to buy new and this dress is only $150. I don't have high expectations but if comes and I like it I just saved myself a bunch of money, if I hate it I still have time to find something.
  4. I travel often and only once have my fiance and I not been able to sit together. If you get to the airport early you won't have a problem. The one time we couldn't sit together we were leaving from Cancun and our bus was the last to arrive at the airport and we were some of the last people to check in so they didn't have two seats together so they gave us seats across from one another.
  5. We have a similar deal, for every 12 rooms booked one person goes for free. Since we got a great group deal (1359 taxes in) we decided to use the free room for ourselves to allow us more money in our favors, oot bags, etc. We are just a few people short of getting a third person for free, but if that happens we have decided to put it towards one of our guests who is going, but will struggle to pay for her trip.
  6. #8, maybe you could try a different color with your names to make them stand out a little more, but I love them all.
  7. I've ordered from Vistaprint, I had to purchase $35 worth to get free shipping, plus with all the freebies I got a lot for only about $40.
  8. I took the plunge and ordered my dress from babyonline this morning. I hope the next month flys by, can't wait to see the finished product. If I hate I still have time to get another dress and if I love I just saved myself about $2000.
  9. These translations are compliments of a BDW bride, I found them in her welcome book.
  10. So I need you ladies to put my mind at ease. I have fallen in love with a dress, but none of the shops in my area carry the style. I'm seriously considering purchasing a knock off, but I'm so scared I'm going to waste my money and absolutely hate the dress when it arrives. Who would you suggest for great work and easy delivery to Canada.
  11. Oh I'm so sorry for you. We got a great response at the beginning too and then people slowly started backing out. My fiance's only brother is not going because of the money, but he just bought a new truck and camper so he can't be that hard up. We also had a few people ask why we don't just get married at home and my answer to them is "I don't want too". Do what you want, you only get this one day so go with your heart.
  12. Just hit 150 today, can't wait to be able to download attachements, I have been bookmarking a ton!
  13. I've always booked all my trips myself, but for this I knew I wanted a TA who could answer any question my guests have. So far having a TA has been a huge relief. I know I can direct my guests to her for whatever info they need.
  14. I'm in the exact same situation. I'm running out of places to go and don't want to order something offline without at least trying it on first.
  15. Hi Amy, One thing I found helpful was to first consider who I absolutely needed to have attend our wedding. For DH and I that includes my brothers and their children so I knew from the beginning that adults only resorts were out of the question. My second factor in picking a resort was everyone's budget. I knew it had to a 4 to 5 star resort, preferably one I had already been too and then I had my TA start getting prices. We had her start looking in mid-April and by the end of April she came up with a fantastic deal for us, $1359 per person, taxes in to the 5 star Grand Sirenis in Riviera Maya, Mexico. Been there before and loved it so I jumped at the change to book it for that rate. We are getting married April, 24, 2012 so now any questions that come I just search this forum. Happy Planning!
