Allison, I just love reading your comments, sounds like I am going to be a similar bride as you were! My first request is the Tuscan Terrace and we are doing the gazebo as well. Thanks for all you help. Did you make mini playlist on your i-pod for enterance, first dance, etc? Does the Tech make any announcments on the mic or did you have someone in your wedding party? YOU are a rock star for helping us brides to be! Thanks again!

Allison, Awesome info...beautiful Pictures! A couple Q's for you, sorry if you already posted this info! Is that the Tuscan terrace for your private function? Did you do I-pod or DJ? Did you paid for the extra lighting, the laterns on the steps and the hanging lights?

From the documents I have seen: DJ for 4 hours $1,495.00 DJ for 2 Hours $995.00 No DJ just Equipment for DJ $385.00 I-Pod $220 Don't know if this info is up to date for 2011, but I am guessing it is close.

I think the Tech will do stuff like that, or I think I have read on posts that the WC and assistant stay with you during the reception...so they might be able to do it too!

Thanks for your help...I don't have that many guest, but my TA did tell me to consider transporting everything. We have a Family room booked for our 2 kids...so Hopefully that room is big enough! Thanks again for your feedback! Congrats!

I am with you. I have read both positive and negative reviews. I am getting married Oct 22, 2011 and I think I am going to do the I-Pod option. From the reviews I have read, people liked this option. You get a good speaker system, and they have someone who runs the I-Pod for you. I am just going to make a play list for each of the dances, (ie. First Dance, Father/Daughter, Mother/Son) The guy running the I-Pod will have a list and all he has to do is push play. You still get a microphone, so we will still have speeches. I think I am also going to put a section on my free website page for song request, and ask my guest to add favorite songs..and then at the reception they can tell everyone why they picked the song. For example...some of my girlfriends from college would request some of our favorite dance songs when we go out! Hope this helps...good luck with your decision. I know it was hard for me, but I am pretty sure that is the route I will go!

JennW818 I am getting married October 2011. We are bringing our 2 daughters and we have had similar Q's. we are getting the family room, which will allow us some privacy and the kids can have some fun in there room! Ask your TA or WC about the family room.....it is pretty cool! My parents are staying with the kids in the family room the wedding night, that way my parents get some nights and we get our wedding night. Hope this helps, Lizard Sorry, I'm new to this and have a ton of questions. Is anyone traveling with young children? Our two year old daughter will be coming with us. From what I've been reading, it doesn't look like Moon Palace has a babysitting service. I don't think we will be able to afford to pay for our babysitter to come for the week, but also don't want to burden our family and friends who are coming with looking after her while we are preparing for the wedding. Is anyone else having similar concerns or have any ideas for me?

Quick Q, If you use the resorts photographer and you pay for the CD, can download those and print them yourself?

Where are you getting ready on your wedding day. I am worried the room is going to be to small to have my family in there with me getting ready? HELP!
