I bought my sand ceremony today at Michaels and used a 50% off coupon. I also am picking up dark purple sand & light green sand (my colors) it will look perfect!!! I'm so excited, I leave Sunday!!!! EEEEEKKKK!!!!!!

TMwedding2011, What did they do about yours and your wedding party's wristbands?? Did they cut them off you for the wedding day? I don't wanna have horrible tan lines from that wrist band and 100% don't want them in the photos!! hahaa I just thought of this now!!

Hi eholt, I got them at Michael's craft store. They always have coupons online.. I can't remember the last time I paid full price for anything at that place!! Last week I got 2 Callas for $5 CDN. I know they have them in the USA too as I was in Maine last weekend and found them there too. They had white, yellow, green, pink, coral & a few purple.. Very realistic and I think they look great!

I'm thinking a White thick Satin ribbon with a band of Eggplant purple.. sorta like this...

So I put these together but I am thinking of adding a few more white Callas later today when I get home.. keep in mind I have not yet put the ribbon around them nor have I cut them.. just wanted to get your opinions!

I just got a ton of starfish at the Christmas Tree shop in Augusta ME. I was down there over the weekend and picked up 4 bags.. they also had sand dollars.. Did notice TJ MAXX also had starfish down there..

I actually had an email from Chandlyn a few weeks ago advising me the Judge fees had changed to $200 plus tax.. This is just a standard thing, nothing to do with the new 2012 fees. I must email them and appologize right now, I sent them a pretty heated email today.

Ohhh.. ok there is some confusion here... that $200 is the judges fees.. and yes they have gone down to $200 plus tax. This doesn't mean you're being offered the 2012 package prices.. I am certain if you asked for the price of one of the packages you have to pay for you would probably get the same rates we have.

I was going to wait to sit down with Chandlyn and decide when I got there but then I started thinking that I would be super disapointed if I got there and they didn't have the flowers I wanted.. That's why I am going with real touch.. I will use the flowers they provide for centerpieces and or gazebo deocration.

Yes they are real touch, they're actually on sale at Michael's this week. The calla's are 2 for $5 so the whole bouquet only cost me like $30 bucks!!

On a lighter note, I put together my bouquet last night... your feedback is appreciated as I can still tweak them etc. Please note the length hasn't been cut yet and I haven't put the wrap around the stem.. I just put the arrangement together last night at 10pm!! haha

OK, this is going to cause a lot of problems between Chandlyn and the rest of us 2011 brides.. can you post the email she sent you confirming the 2012 rates for your 2011 wedding? This is unreal.... Chandlyn told me she cannot adjust the rates as they come from her head office, if that is the case how can she offer 1 bride 2011 rates and 1 bride 2012 rates... Something is fishy here. None of us like to be ripped off, and it's not that i'm saying they're trying to take our money from us however, if they're offering it to 1 then they should have to offer it to all of us.. ugh so frustrating!!!
