    Hi Leanne, My BFF is from Toronto and often visits. She is constantly checking WestJet for seat sales and usually manages to come down for about $400 - $450 roundtrip (just airfare). I would also recommend signing up for email alerts on Travelocity and Expedia. You still have some time, so I would risk waiting a little bit. Good luck and happy planning!     Hi Andrea! I can't comment on the services at the Paradisus, but if you end up looking for alternatives, I do know that Trevor's salon Waves (www.wavesplaya.com) is JUST outside the resort. I believe the cute little boardwalk that they've built along the hotel property goes right up to his salon, if I'm not mistaken. Just a thought! Happy Planning! Sofia Lori's Office Assistant

    Hi Ladies, Staying in town is the PERFECT location for site visits as well as getting to know the area. There are a ton of boutique style hotels in the area that are well under $100 USD per night and have loads of amazing restaurants around! I am a little partial to the North end myself as I live and work here so here are a few recommendations for small hotels that are cozy, clean, comfy, and affordable! The Bric (www.thebrichotel.com): Calle 28 between 5th and 10th Ave. Aventura Mexicana (www.aventuramexicana.com): Calle 24 between 5th and 10th Ave. Be Playa (www.beplaya.com): Calle 26 and 10th Ave. Riviera del Sol (www.rivieradelsol.com): Calle 30 and 1st Ave. These are also just steps away from the best beach in town and there is a Starbucks right on 5th Avenue!     Hey Girls! I'm loving all the small boutique wedding locations on this thread!! As for color palettes, just keep in mind that a destination wedding in this area already provides a TON of color between the turquoise ocean and the lush green jungle, you might also want to consider any rich colors in your hotel. Some of the hacienda styled resorts often use deep tones like burnt orange. Since orange has been mentioned, I wanted to include some nice combos we've seen! Happy Planning!
